Drove 40 minutes out of my way to try this place and was unsatisfied. Service was great, but the food was sorely lacking in flavor. Chicken was dry and bland, my husband’s steak dish was too salty and overdone. The salsa was disappointingly watered down and without heat/spice/jalapeo and the queso fundido (cheese dip) was pretty gross. Super sad face.
No question this was the worst attempt at Mexican food I’ve tasted and near the worst meal I’ve ever had. The chips were old and overcooked, bordering on stale. The salsa was bland. The Chile Colorado had a slight resemblance to Chef Boyardee canned tomato sauce. The staff was not personable. There is nothing about this place that I can think of that will bring me back. Don’t waste your time.
SALSA!. Stopped in for lunch and was pleased with it being my first time there. I took my senior citizen friend and she enjoyed the chicken taco salad while I had a warm chicken quesidilla. It was a little bland but the chips & SALSA made up for it. The salsa was delicious and a little spicer than mild, just the way I like it. Servers were friendly and quick which we appreciated while having limited time for lunch. I WILL be back!

Good food… rude staff. The food was excellent… probably one of the best Mexican places we’ve found. My enchilada & burrito were done just right. My gf loved her fajitas! But the churro dessert was under-cooked and still doughy inside & did not come with the whipped cream like the pic shows.The waiter rolled his eyes when I asked for an extra plate for my gf’s fajitas… where is she supposed to make them if there’s no plate? Also to be a jerk he filled my Coke completely overflowing with ice, so I got about 3 sips out of it before I needed a refill (which I never got). When leaving they all just stared, no one said thank you or come again… even with it being so good, I don’t know if we’ll return due to the staff attitude.
!!!Excellent Mexican!!!. They have a very well thought out menu with a range of authentic mexican options not readily available at other local mexican restaurants. Service was fast and good with plentiful iced tea and water refills. The complimentary chips were good and a very good hot salsa is available on request. My new favorite mexican restaurant
