Disappointing, if you think you’re going to be getting great sushi. Just average- average food, average beer list, average service. Loud inside. 2 out of the 3 times I’ve been there in the last year, I’ve gotten sick (coincidence?). Much better sushi at Youngs, just around the corner…cheaper too!!
I recently visited Lure Bistro at the recommendation of a co-worker, and I was NOT disappointed at all. Lure Bistro serves quality food at a good price, and whether you eat indoors or out, it has nice atmosphere.I happened to be there on a Tuesday, which is the night where all Sushi is half-price, and I enjoyed two different rolls. The first was the Baconator. I hadn’t experienced Bacon and Sushi before, but I was not disappointed. The bacon was still pretty crispy, and the rest of the roll was full of flavor. The other roll was their Dragon Roll (I’m pretty sure that was the name of the roll). It was very large, flavorful, and well presented. The rolls themselves held together well for someone like me who is a bit of a novice with chopsticks, and featured a nice variety of seafood. Service was excellent, and considering how busy things were, our food arrived in a decent amount of time. The location also features Valet parking. I would suggest taking advantage of that service. I didn’t and I had quite a time finding a spot near the restaurant.Overall, Lure is a great place to eat and hang out with friends. I will certainly be back!
Sushi is bad. The Sushi lacks flavor and is not rolled up like you would expect. The Rice is done poorly. Dinners are way overpriced for the service an quality you get. Even a burger I got on a different outing was raw in the middle. For the same prices you can go to Hyde Park or similar for much better service and dining environment.
