Warm Toasted Buns and Melted Cheese. The sub sandwiches at Penn Station are just a cut above the rest. Their toasted bread is absolutely delicious and the the melted cheese is always the perfect compliment to the other ingredients. Thanks to the sub of the month special, I have tried almost every variety of sandwich and have yet to been disappointed. Chicken Teriyaki, however, is my favorite and is one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted.The fresh cut fries are a throwback to yesteryear and although it doesn’t suit my taste, they provide vinegar as a fry condiment. The staff is always extremely pleasant and although it is not a full-service type of restaurant, they usually offer to bus our table when finished. Penn Station (Mentor) is a tremendous restaurant with great food and excellent service.
