I wish they would advertise this place more because not a lot of people know about it and its fantastic the service is great fast and friendly servers delicious food! I definitely recommend it.
My Favorite. If your from Wooster you know the typical Mexican place is El camp, in my opinion, El Tapatio blows them out of the water. They are more authentic and I believe you get better quality in friendliness and in service. The salsa they serve is by far better and the sampler is a better price and comes with a better variety of dishes to try. They are ran and owned by the same very well represented and respected Casa Del Rio in Wadsworth. When I want to go to a Mexican Restaurant my choice is hands down, EL TAPATIO.
Love it! My husband is from Mexico and the staff is very hospitable to both of us. Food is great and they have no problem with us asking to have food made a certain way.
My boyfriend and I ate here a few weeks ago for the first and last time. The service was terrible and the food was bland. The sole redeeming quality was the margaritas, but it’s hard to mess those up. We’ll stick with El Campesino.
El tapatio. We have gone there a handful of times and every time we have a great time there. The staff is friendly and has an amazing atmosphere with great Mexican decorations. The food is as ethnic as it gets with some bacon wrapped shrimp. I highly recommend this restaurant as a great family Place.
It was my husband’s second time to El Tapatio’s. Our first family trip here. It is a comfortable and inviting environment. The host and waiters are VERY friendly. The food is DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC!! It was very affordable. For 3meals plus a kids meal w/2 sodas cost around $33. They start you off with complimentary homemade chips and salsa. We live in upstate NY but will definitely be back! Awesome!!
El tapato. Yesterday was my first time here, and I have to say this place is great, it has great tasty food, and my waiter was decent… but i didn’t felt quite welcome here… all the crew was kind rude, and the guy who I’d pay never smile he looked like i was bothering him…I would give a second chance just because it’s the only decent Mexican restaurant in the area…
