Great. These are the Second best donuts that I have ever had and the best donuts can not be had anymore as the little old lady who made them at the IGA where I grew up retired a few years ago. Everyone should have at least one of the chocolate long johns if they come near Zanesville.
Freshest donuts EVER!!!. I don’t know how they do it, but I have never….and I’ve had ample opportunity….tasted a donut as good as the ones from Donald’s!! There is no greasy aftertaste in my mouth like a lot of others leave. My favorite are the white cream filled long johns with chocolate frosting. I have never had a chocolate frosting as balanced as theirs. The cake donuts are incredible as well. Usually when we are in town I have to take about 4-5 dozen back with me because once I shared them, everyone wants them! Oh, how I wish I didn’t have to wait for just once or twice a year for this treat! But, then again, maybe a little distance is a good thing! lol
Best Ever. I’ve got a friend who’s lived in Chicago, New York, few places in Florida, and other countries around the world and she swears she hasn’t ever found a better doughnut than Donald’s. Though I love the powdered sugar long john, the most outstanding items are their apple fritters and cinnamon honey bun. Thinking about them makes me want one right now!
