New owners!!!!. Ever since the previous owner left, the place went from a 2 to a 10…he no longer sits in there and goes crazy on customers. The food is better, the desserts are homemade not store bought. Overall the place is so much better and is now open all week including Sunday.
Not a fan. They were out of some dishes at lunch.. Found plastic wrap in my dish and they couldn’t have care less. Wouldn’t return.
Fun little spot. It’s a good place to stop for a few cocktails and a snack. I haven’t ventured here for dinner yet…but have been several times for drinks and snacks. Service has always been good.01 Aug, 2014Mac and Cheese. Delicious and creamy!
Apparently if you go with a party of 2 you will not be seated outside, even with empty tables- those seats are for large parties only. Menu is very minimal, staff incompetent. Do not waste your money here unless you enjoy poor service.
We’ve eaten there 4 times and 3 of the 4 times are food was not prepared right. Quail was RAW. Filet which I ordered MR was RARE as rare could be. Service was nice except for tonight. We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to come ask about an appetizer. Worst service ever. I could understand if they were busy but not the case. We probably won’t go back. It’s a hit or miss kinda of place. Waitresses dress horrible
Wonderful outdoor seating by the river – BEAUTIFUL!!. Wonderful food, well prepared and delicious! Walleye and Cod were fabulous! Outdoor seating on the river was beautiful and they were able to accomodate our dog in a nice ‘out of the way’ table. The owner and his staff were very nice!! We’ll be back!
Better than anticipated after reading past mixed reviews. Good meal, not gourmet but tasty, well prepared and presented nicely. Staff efficient and attentive enough. Location by river very nice setting with much Zane Grey paraphernalia, very interesting, funky. Would go there again and recommend to others. We had fried oyster appetizer, salad, sauted walleye, and crab cake, all very good.
