I took my aunt and children to Tom’s last night after dinner. I would love to be able to give a fair review of this restaurant, but because the service was so poor I’m afraid I cannot. We watched the two girls that were supposed to be serving chat for about ten minutes, then when we thought at last one must be coming to our table. They both went to bus another table together. When we finally had our order taken the ice cream came out very quickly. All of the ice cream was delicious, especially my son’s Apple Strudel ( a seasonal flavor) I was a bit dissatisfied with my mango sorbet. It was almost too sweet, with the sugar drowning out the flavor of the mango. I think next time I go I’ll sit at the bar and hope for better service. I was just expecting this old time style restaurant to have employees with old fashioned work ethic.
