We had a so-so experience. We enjoyed the 50s decor and music, and the service was great. I liked my corned beef skillet, but the low points were the pancakes and my husband’s steak omelette. Both were dry. The pancakes were crumbly, and no amount of syrup could make up for the dry consistency. Likewise, the omelette needed more cheese to hold it together, and it lacked flavor. It’s a neighborhood restaurant for us, so I’m sure we’ll be back to give it another try, but not soon.
Service and food were fantastic! Didn’t realize it until walking in, but we got there really close to closing. The staff was really nice and didn’t rush us at all, very pleasant and great attitude.
Went tonight for our first time and absolutely everything from the service to the food and the quality was perfect. We went knowing this low 2.7 rating and were a bit over whelmed by the experience. The quality of the burger I had- rates up there with any gourmet burger I have ever eaten and the chicken fried steak was unbeatble in quality and size. We saw the others around us eating their dinners and were enjoying it VERY much.
Have eaten there several times. Service is always great, food is always great and large portions. Very reasonably priced. Never have to wait for check to be brought to you. They are very friendly and it’s very nicely decorated, I can’t always hear it but I love the 50’s music.
I decided to try this restaurant after reading a Tulsa World review.I found my experience to be a very positive one. I ordered the Grilled Ham Steak breakfast. It looked so good I forgot to take a photo before diving in! The eggs were cooked well and everything was very satisfying.Service was friendly, prompt and non-intrusive.The decor was impressive for a small, new diner. So many new restaurants take over an older building and do the bare minimum to get doors open. You can tell that the owner put much effort into making the place look and feel nice. Booths are new and not butt-sprung yet – nice. The bathroom was a little less renovated than the rest of the building – perhaps they’re planning for more upgrades though. I will definitely be going back!
