I have eaten here several times. They don’t handle large groups well, but I haven’t found an authentic Mexican place that does in along time. This evening there were three of us and the restaurant was reasonably busy. Food was hot and on point. Service was spectacular. I eat here often at lunch because they run great specials. We had rellenos, enchiladas, and a chimichanga. All were good. The sopapillas were very tasty.
Where do I start. Cold food. Incorrect orders. No silver wear. Party of 15. When questioned about the incorrect order the waiter prompt to assure us that’s what we ordered.
This place was great, untill I looked at mt bank account the next day and realiaed I was charged $33.12 for a $6.99 and 8.99 meal with two drinks. Never going back. After we left we even left a ten dollar tip. Wish we woulda left nothing at all.
Very good food with great prices. Food is served quickly and hot full of flavor. My wife and I both enjoy the food and service. We will be going back for dinner this evening and plan many more visits in the future……….excellent job Chilango’s keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
Good so far.. Had the Steak Chilango when I was there. Some of the onions were cooked and the rest were raw. Other than that the prices are reasonable and my food was good. I ate everything but the onions. I have gone back a few times since and lobe it.
I’ve been back multiple times and have tried several dishes. The taquitos are the best I’ve ever had. The enchiladas are great. The place was packed tonight but the service was quick and waiter was so nice. I love that this place is right up the road from my house. Glad the word is getting out about it so it stays around for a long time.23 Dec, 2013Great food! Great price!. I was very pleased with Chilango’s. The food was full of flavor and the price was excellent. I didn’t go in there with super high hopes b/c I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants that were not that great but this one was a pleasant surprise. I got the chicken chimichanga with rice and refried beans. The chicken in the chimichanga was to die for. so tender and full of flavor. the queso on top was delicious. the rice was fluffy and tender. the beans were great. Best of all, the service was exceptional. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food came out to us quickly and piping hot. My husband ordered the enchiladas verde and was very happy with it. He said it was awesome with just the right amount of kick. The margaritas were some of the best I’ve had in the area and were WAY cheaper than the same you would get from most Mexican restaurants around here– $6 for one you would pay $12 for at los cabos. All the entrees are priced surprisingly low for the quality. I haven’t been anywhere the food was this good for this low a price. I would happily pay more but I’m glad i don’t have to. Plus the portions are huge! I get two meals for the price of one! I will definitely be a regular here. 🙂
