This location of Dairy Queen has gone from bad to worse. We went in and ordered 3 orders of the pretzel sticks, a pop and a blizzard – the new clerk wasn’t familiar with the various blizzards at all and had to go ask the guys in the back. When we got the pretzel sticks I noticed they were much darker than they had been in the past and dripping with grease – they were disgusting! There was grease in the bottom of the cups they come in even. I don’t remember them having grease before. I had really been craving them! I was so disappointed that I could not eat them! We complained but no compensation was offered. We tried to order the Guardians of the Galaxy blizzard that has been advertised for at least a week, but was told it wasn’t available until May 1st, so we tried to order the Reeses special blizzard that was for April and was told they didn’t have that anymore because it was almost May! When we tried to ask about other blizzards that we had ordered before the cashier would have to go ask if that ingredient was available. From now on we will stick with SONIC!!! Sonic is much less expensive, more convenient since they are everywhere and so much better taste and service!!! By the way, while we were ordering one of the cooks was chomping away on a hamburger while he was cooking. Also, while we were there 2 of the blizzards delivered to other people fell out of the cups when turned upside down as required when they were delivered. One splattered all over the table and one of the customers.

Terrible service. Really long wait time. One worker flirted with a group of customers (it was obvious that it was unwelcome) at the expense of other customers waiting in line to make their order. Another worker was very agitated and distracted because a 3rd employee had hidden his phone and he was unable to find it. Observed the food runner putting his fingers in the ice cream multiple times. The entire dining room was frustrated by the wait time. At one point the girl who works drive through was bringing food out and taking drive through orders. She truly seemed like the only one who knew what she was doing or was focused on the job. It was truly a frustrating and disappointing experience.

The only reason I give a 1.0 rating, is that a negative rating is not an option. We recently moved to this area a few weeks ago and decided to try the Dairy Queen at 3120 W. Kenosha St. in Broken Arrow. Huge Mistake. The Burgers were cold, the buns tasted bad, the fries were cold. Everyone in my family who had a burger had diarrhea within a couple hours and one was also vomiting. This place should be shut down by the Health Department. No wonder they were not busy at dinnertime.

Would not accept coupon. We went to the Broken Arrow DQ to use my husband’s anniversary coupon for BOGO on Blizzards. We ordered, told them we had a coupon, then they would not honor it at the window, saying that since they already had a special on Blizzards, our coupon was not good. The coupon was sent via email and specified the BA location where we could use it. We contacted the corporate office and they said the owner of the franchise in BA would contact us–no contact, and it’s been over two weeks. I know it was only a 99 cent difference, but it’s not the money, it’s the fact we were condescended to by the person working at the drive-thru, who basically acted like we were too stupid to be dealt with. As far as we are concerned, unless we hear back from the local owner, Dairy Queen, at that location, is no longer on our radar. It’s sad, because generally speaking DQ has great food and treats, but to be treated so poorly can mean only one of two things–either the business there is so good they can afford to offend customers, or the training and/or managers are not addressing customer service issues. Either way, doesn’t look good for DQ.
