First time in a long time that my visit here was less than stellar. Hubby was hungry for a large order of shrimp fried rice. I decided to try the chicken lo mein for a change we also got an order of rangons. Got the order 45 min ago- got home. My chicken lo mein had exactly 1 piece of chicken- about the size of a golf pencil. My husbands shrimp fried rice- was CHICKEN fried rice. He was SO hungry and so disappointed at the same time. Food was hot and fresh but not what we ordered. First time in 10 years of ordering there. Too late to call and go back since we are prepping for the weekend. I looked at the receipt to make sure I ordered right and it showed what i ordered but- wasnt what I got.
Love It!. This is the only Chinese restaurant we order from. My husband has to add to and take stuff away from his order and they have never once missed anything! By the time we call it in and driver there (5-7 min drive) it’s ready and waiting! Never have we been disappointed or had a bad experience!!
Fast!. Stopped by around 8pm. Ordered to go- food said to be ready in 15 minutes. Only took 7-10 minutes. Food piping hot and fresh. Not the best ever Moo Goo Gai Pan, but I would certainly eat here again!
Great!. I don’t even like Chinese food but having become very bored with the selection of food I decided to venture out. I tried other Chinese restaurants and finally tried Happy House based on the user reviews and it blows the rest away. I will not even eat Chinese food unless it’s from Happy House anymore. The sweet & sour sauce is delicious. I get the Sweet & Sour Chicken and the General Tso’s Chicken every time. Never let down.
Didn’t like it myself, but husband and daughter did. Husband got house special lo mein – loved itPicky 4 year old got chicken fried rice – ate most of a pintI got beef and broccoli with lo mein – hated it. Meat was gamey, broccoli was overdone, and lo mein tasted too gingery.
Best cheese wontons ever! Slightly sweet and oh, so good. Their fried rice is also very yummy.
