This place has gone down the tubes since it was taken over by new management. The past 2 times we have gone to this place, they have lost our reservation. This last time was our Valentine’s date and we were asked to sit at the bar after having to wait for awhile because they didn’t have a table for us. We were concerned after waiting that we wouldn’t have enough time to eat but the bartender assured us we would. We were scheduled to paint next door at Pinot’s Palette at 7pm and at 6:55 our food was still not out so we ended up having to cancel our order. We went to a 3 hour painting class absolutely starving. I even wrote an email to the management and tweeted about it and didn’t receive an apology or any kind of contact at all. We will be going to Yokozuna or Memories of Japan from now on. The food is so not worth the headache.
Great food, very high prices.. I like in the raw. It’s great to have another sushi restaurant in Broken Arrow. I have been there 3 times so far. 1st time was great. However, man its hard to digest the prices. 2nd times great food again. Whew the prices again the second time. I’m thinking maybe depends on what you order. Still not a lot of food for the price. The 3rd time I stopped on for lunch during a work hour right up the road from my son’s school so should be a nice lunch break for both of us. The restaurant was not busy so I’m thinking great we should have our food at quickly since we ordered our food right away, WRONG! We were all late getting back and again with not a lot of sushi for the price. I wouldn’t go there until I’m tired of eating at all my faves and still want sushi. I wish there was a soso vote I would select that choice.
Really wanted to like this place. Everything about this place was good except the food. Service excellent, ambiance good, location good. Had dinner with a friend Wednesday night, she had the Salmon dish which was charred on the outside and the sauce was overwhelming. The rice amount was enormous and was the sticky rice not good as a side and the veggies were over salted and greasy. I had the Tako Salad which probably was the best thing I had. Then a Spider Roll which seemed like the soft shell crab was cooked prior as it was cold inside and the outside which should have been crunchy was soft like it had been pre made. If they can straighten out the food this place could be a hit but it’s a miss for now.
