The worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had! Most hateful and rude waitress on this planet. Gave me a very dirty look when she came to take my order never said a word then rushed of. Came back later throwing my plates of food down on the table knocking over a basket of butter all over the table. Neve came back to check on me except to slap the bill down on the table. Not sure what bug crawled up her butt, but I will tell everyone I know to stear clear of Jakes and I will never go there again. Food was not good either…

I have been coming to Jake’s Cafe for the past month, almost as a habit on the weekend for breakfast. The service has always been exceptionally pleasant and accurate in orders. The food is really good for the price. My wife and I both really love the country breakfast. If you want to make a change to an order, like sub bacon for sausage they don’t nickel and dime your bill into oblivion. You can tell that they use an instant gravy mix vs. Home made, and the biscuits and pancakes come from a mix as well. Eggs and meats are high quality. But these cost and time measures taken reflect on your ticket and result in a very affordable meal. Most of out breakfasts for two plus a child and drinks come to the low 20’s in price. For what it is Jake’s Cafe is excellent. It’s a private owned country diner with small town charm in a big city. The reason they didn’t get a five is there is a small, acceptable variation in consistency. Sometimes pancakes are tougher than previous visits, and the fajita steak omelet is more like a pot roast omelet. Very tasty, but not fajita.I highly recommend this restaurant. It offers a excellent balance of quantity, quality, and price.
