My husband got the smothered grilled chopped steak. He got a burnt, extremely grease hamburger patty with some onions & cheese on it. It taste so bad he couldn’t even finish it. I got the catfish. It says it has a zesty cornbread batter. Wrong. Nothing zesty about it. Just was not good. I didn’t finish mine either. We left hunger & WILL NOT be back.
Our steaks were great, service too.. We went about 1pm. We had rib eye, fillets and cheese sticks with the sides. It wasn’t real busy after the lunch rush, We got very good service, a normal wait for the steaks, hot bread and cheese sticks were very good. Our steaks were very tender and juicy. We had sides of sauted mushrooms, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies. We all 3 thought everything was very good.i’m glad it wasn’t a planned stop, if i had checked some of the reviews before hand, i’m sure we would have passed it up. Glad we didn’t.
Rib Eye Steak???. My husband and I both ordered a 10 oz rib-eye steak dinner. Both of us thought the steak tasted scorched, like it was cooked on a dirty grill where something had been burned. Mine was replaced, but the second one was tough and had hot spices on it. I paid a good price for inferior steaks that were ill prepared. My husband is a picky eater and could not finish his, and did not want to risk another. When we got home, he had an upset stomach. I rarely complain, in fact the first silverware I opened had dried food on both forks, but there was another set and I didn’t even bring that up to the waitress. Needless to say, after driving a long way to have a special mid-day meal, the trip did not end very well. This is the first time I have eaten at the Broken Arrow Santa Fe, but have eaten at many Santa Fe’s in the past. This is considered the worst experience I have ever had at a Santa Fe.
