We eat here frequently, and I can easily give them a great review. 🙂 We moved here from a city in Arkansas that also had a Slim’s, and we were so excited when we saw one be built here as well. This one is at least as good as the one we had there, and we have found the staff to be even friendlier and more helpful here. They have good menu variety (assuming you like chicken, that is), a wide variety of sauces, the food is always fresh, and they’re very mindful and accommodating of food allergies when special requests are made (that’s a biggie for us). We have had wrong orders or cold food only a few times, and they go above and beyond to make it right and correct the issue when it happens.

The food was hot and fresh but a bit bland for me and my wife taste buds. We ordered the chicken and waffles. I thought the pink lemonade was good but my wife didn’t think so. If I come back I will bring my own seasoning.
There is nothing special about it. Our food was hot but the chicken was small and tasteless. I had the buffalo fried chicken wrap and fries, the buffalo sauce was not great, the tenders were too small for the wrap and I felt like a handful of fries was not enough. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and also commented on how small the chicken tenders were, he said if they fail at the chicken business they will nail it in the waffle business because the waffle was great! Fried pickles were hot, I liked the sizing of them but not a lot of seasoning for taste. For 25 dollars for food that sucked. Chick fil a is 20 times better and cheaper!! There are far better chicken choices in broken arrow, heck go to WHATABURGER and get chicken strips before going here.
With so many chicken restaurants that have opened up around town, Slim Chickens is definitely my favorite. The food always comes out fresh and hot. I have ate here several times and have never been disappointed with cold fries or chicken that had been sitting for awhile. The chicken tenders are juicy and flavorful and I love the variety of different sauces that are available for dipping. I recently discovered the fried mushrooms. They are out this world good. I’m normally a fry guy but I’m happy to say I ventured to try the mushrooms. The fried pickles are also very good. If you like chicken and waffles, theirs will not disappoint. The waffle is cooked perfectly!
By far the worst chicken & chicken wings we have ever eaten. The young man that took our order had us so confused we weren’t sure if we got what we ordered. We ordered a variety to get a feel for this new restaurant in Broken Arrow. Everything we ate was bad. Some of it wasn’t edible and we threw it away. Will not return!!!
