Was hoping for more. Stopped by here instead of Ice House to watch some activities in the park. The people were very friendly. Even told us about their money back guarantee…if we took one bite and didn’t like it they would refund all of my money. Ordered a cheeseburger and a bottle of water. When the burger came out I had to lift my chin up off of the ground. it was SO small. It was literally the size of a regular McDonalds hamburger. it wasn’t a bad burger at all so I couldn’t say I didn’t like it. I would have had to have at least 2 to consider it a lunch. just my opinion.
Good Food, but Dinky Burger. The flavor was excellent, but the burger was the size of a 79 cent McDonald’s cheeseburger for $6…No thanks, I know why it’s called Mob Burger, because I felt robbed.
I don’t know whether to like or dislike. Caught inbetween.Husband and I came across this food truck at an event in the city so we ordered 1 burger, no cheese, add jalapeos and bacon, and also an order of fries. It took us about 1 minute to order but about 15-20 or so to get our food. Granted, it was busy and we certainly weren’t the only ones waiting. However, we managed to stand in line at bother food truck, get our food, and eat it all before we even got our food from MOB’s food truck!When we did receive our food, the burger had cheese on it. No big deal, they simply gave us another one. But this one had no bacon in it, and only a blob of what looked like pickled jalapeos, chopped up to mush. Also, no bacon. Didn’t want to deal with waiting around more so we just ate it. Nothing impressive. Generic bun with beef patty. Nothing really in the meat to make it stand out. However, the fries were delicious. Cut skinny and fried crispy. I don’t think we would stop by this truck again if we had other options.
MOB Grill onion burgers, YUM!. Had a burger from the Food truck, just a basic meat, bread, cheese, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes and fries. You think you have had every burger there is, but you haven’t. It’s hard to do a basic burger right. The meat has to be seasoned and cooked just right or you’re a fraud. You can dress up a burger with bacon, eggs, avocado, etc and call it gourmet, but toppings hide your sins. MOB is the real deal. the meat/onion ratio is spot on, you don’t feel like you’re eating only onions or only meat. The fries, were seasoned and cooked perfectly! Some fries don’t need ketchup and this are those fries. If you see the truck, stop and try the burgers and fries. You won’t be disappointed.
