Rude owner/ladies. I work in the same building as Richey’s. The only reason I ate there was for convenience. Prices are too high, and food is just okay. The women that work there are so rude (Richey is, too). They think they are doing a service to you for waiting on you. One of the ladies is worse than the other. She acts like we should be graced with her presence. Anyway, I had it out with that one, and I have chosen not to ever ever go back. I figured that is losing Richey’s about $600 a year. That’s a lot when you think about it. I didn’t eat all of the time, but quite a bit. Well, today, my boss overheard Richey say that he is raising the prices, due to the raise of something he buys. Then he went on to say that if people don’t like it, then don’t eat here. He said it out where my boss heard him while she was waiting for food. I think we all should boycott this place and quit going. Richey is a jerk, the one girl (it might be his daughter) is a *%#@&! SERIOUSLY. I will for sure make sure it is known if anyone asks about Richey’s.
I’ve been frequenting Richey’s for the last three years. I love this place! The taco salad, hummus and tabbouleh are my favorite items on the menu. I’m not sure what other reviewers are talking about regarding rude staff. The women at the registers are always friendly and helpful to me.
Food is good BUT. The staff taking your order is RUDE!!!! The lady taking the order is HORRIBLE!!!
Great food, very poor attitude!. I love the food at Richey’s! I always get their chicken fried steak sandwich, and it’s always delicious. I also appreciate the convenience of the downtown location in the Oklahoma Tower, as I work in the Corporate Tower next door. That being said, it seems like unless the employees know you personally, their attitude towards you is very, very poor. I had called in my lunch order today since I was busy at work and the lady that took my order was EXTREMELY rude. I could barely get a sentence out before she hung up on me! Unfortunately when I got there to pick the order up, it wasn’t much better. Both women working the register seemed very grumpy. If only their attitudes were as great as their food.
Sucks. They are rude and horrible at answering phones. They have no appropriate social skills and don’t conduct business very well. Don’t go.
It’s just ok. I don’t understand what the deal is with this place. They have good sandwiches, but so do most of the other 50 sandwich places downtown.
REALLY??. I have worked near this place nearly 3 years…. There is NOTHING special about this place at all. How the hell can a place with frozen burgers, sausage patties, and just overall bad food be rated so high??? I have had fast food that murders this place. If you have no idea what good food is, this is the place for you!
