First time trying the egg rolls here and I have to honestly say that they were the best I have ever eaten!! I had the Chicken Egg Roll and the Turkey and Jalapeo. They were both a very large portion plus they were cooked perfectly in good oil!! These guys are doing an excellent job and have a quality product!! I highly recommend!!
Liars. The rice is bland, no meat. The egg rolls only have vegetables. Everything is labeled chicken. They need to label everything vegetarian before I report them to the better business bureau for fraud.
Amazing eggrolls!. Absolutely amazing! The eggrolls are simply outstanding and the price is unbelievable! I can’t wait to have it again.
Disappointing…. Egg rolls are large, loose, and workout taste. Don’t even make their own dipping sauce. Border line La Choy…except La Choy makes their own sauce. Very overrated!
Overrated. My husband and I tried Taste of Soul Egg Rolls when they came to our place of work. We were super excited to try them, and we were sorely disappointed. The egg rolls were indeed large, but nothing to write home about on flavor. They were ridiculously greasy. The fried rice had one flavor, soy sauce. I really wanted to like this food truck, but we have no desire to try it again. The one upside was the service. The owners were fantastically friendly; I just wish the food had been worth it.
Good eatin!. I saw a review in latest Slice mag and tried the Soul Egg Roll Food Truck for lunch today. Great food and extremely nice owners. I called to confirm the location and time and everything was great. Had the chicken egg rolls and I really enjoyed them. I will be back!
A lit of people settle for t…. A lot of people settle for their egg rolls. Way too crunchy, weird fishy tasting, and sooo fried over its like a tasteless fortune cookie, but not Taste of Soul! These egg rolls are huge! All are Filled with great tasting ingredients chicken or ground turkey. The outside of the egg roll is so good. Not too crunchy and the flavor is out of this world. I had one of each at H&8th and I will never settle for what others call an egg roll.
