I have ate at the Choctaw Boomerang since it opened and has been a very good place to eat. However lately the service and food has significantly declined. Favorite is chicken fry which has had a real piece of steak, this morning it was just deep fried batter, if there was a steak in there I couldn’t find it, service sucks never enough workers so drinks don’t get refilled, taking order took forever, got coffee but took 5 minutes to get creamer, ignored me 3 times before I could get a refill on coffee., Seems no supervision on site, workers clear tables when no one is waiting, instead of taking care of customers. Take out orders now require a full check as to many times I got home to find missing item,s. I have had the side salad left out, got salad but no dressing, forgot fries and on and on. I used to just go to boomerang, now I will be using the other restaurants in Nicoma Park much better.
Entire menu excellent. We go to this location several times a week and all the meals are great. From what I call old fashion hamburger to the chicken fried steak it’s great. The staff is very friendly, you are treated like true customers from time you walk in till you leave full and satisfied from a excellent meal.

Awful. I had lunch here today and it was horrible! My co-workers ordered beans & cornbread, the beans are canned and very heavily salted. My hamburger was very salty and my onion rings tasted like catfish! I made a comment about the salt and I was told they DO NOT season their food! Not true! I will NEVER recommend this diner to anyone..EVER!
Yum. I went to Boomarang the other night with my daughter and we had a cheeseburger and the fish basket. The food was delicious and fresh. We were pleasantly surprised for a little chain diner. I’m craving it again today and will be going back.
Had breakfast there on a weekend. The wait staff was very nice and friendly. The food was good and inexpensive. I will be going back.
I’ll pass.. Bland, salty diner food from a rising small-town chain. Not cheap (or expensive).
