Last time we ordered, it was ok, the onion rings were limp and greasy but we figured we’d try it again. Never again. Limp fries, no sauce on the wings, kids meal inedible w/no drink, Thunder fries……was that canned pork?? $34……wasted. Dinner……..ruined! Nope, never again…..Sorry Charlie!
We were afternoon diners. The restaurant is spacious and the unisex restroom smells good. The Miller Lite and Blue Moon draft is a reasonable $2.25 a pint. I ordered the 1/3 pound Plain Jane burger for $7.99. I didn’t like the meat seasoning which seemed to turn on me before I finished. The thick pattie lubed with mayo kept sliding from between the buns which didn’t seem suited for the pattie. The onion rings were rather lame, size and taste-wise. The wife ordered the Thunder Nachos which are quite good. I’ve also included a pic of the Mushroom burger. There is a nice deck for outside use. We should have eaten outside since all the flies were inside buzzing us. At one time I counted 4 flies on the rim of the queso bowl. Thankfully we were finished. The heavy-metal screaming background music was getting on our nerves. We and the server were relieved when it ended. Oh, and since this is a sports bar, turn the TV to a baseball game.
