Overall good experience. I didn’t like the Chili rellenos. Not that it was bad I just tried something new that I didn’t like. Wife’s enchiladas were awesome and the daughters steak was great. Salsa and queso was good. Prompt service and great server. Will come back.
Waited to be seated with many open tables avsilable, terrible service, decent food, 1 order wrong had to be sent back no apology from manager, had to wait on server for check after finding her, but largest issue was 5 flies on wall and 3 more circling our food constantly!!! Won’t return!!!
Awesome!. What a great place to eat! Despite that they have small bowls of cheese and hot sauce, which is no big deal because the servers will keep them coming. My wife my life, and my oldest daughter and her friend, and I came in Saturday night for dinner and talk about great service. They will do anything to make their customers very happy. My wife is very picky and likes different things and I like my steak cooked where it’s not burnt. Well let me tell you here at Queso’s the phrase ask and you shall receive happens. Not too many places can say they do this for their customers. The manager came over and made sure that we got what we wanted the way we ordered it. So if you are looking for a great place to eat with a friendly smile and a family feel, then make the short drive to Choctaw, America and enjoy some great Mexican food. Cannot wait until our next trip in!
Cold Food. Ordered two meals and mine was warm not hot and my wife’s was cold. Wait staff had to be flagged to report her food. They took her food back and brought it back and it was still not correct. This was our first and last visit. Wife talked to manager he was just going to take our address to send free coupon. She told him we are not interested in free food, just get your standards up.I highly recommend if you are wanting Mexican food do not spend your money here.
I went to Queso’s for the first time tonight. The food was terrible and the service was mediocre. I ordered the platter with two enchiladas, rice and beans. The chicken enchilada had no flavor what so ever and the corn tortilla tasted stale. The beef enchilada was made with ground beef. That is the first time I have ever seen that. It tasted like it came out of a can. My children got burritos off of the kids menu and it tasted like a frozen burrito topped with microwaved cheese. Absolutely horrible. Another person in my party was completely forgotten. The waitress told him his food was coming out, then came back and asked what he ordered. She then came back without his food again. By the time he got it, everyone else was almost done eating. It took almost two hours for everything. I can say that I will never go back to this restaurant.
Where do I start?. My husband’s co-worker raved about this food. Hesitantly after reading reviews (accurate) I agreed to go with hubby. We were greeted with Hello and proceeded to stand in line 10 minutes with 4-5 open tables. When seated we were given menus without any verbal communication. Guy promptly delivered salsa, queso & chips without saying anything. 5 minutes later our waitress appeared asking for drink orders. 5 minutes later we received the wrong drinks. She corrected them and I asked for tortillas and butter. 11 minutes later she came up and asked what we wanted to eat. I told her firstly we would like the tortillas and butter along with two refills and more queso, salsa and chips. (Drinks had been dry for a while and over half our bowl of chips were broken, bottom of the bag chips.) She left. 6 minutes later she returned with requests and ready to take order. 26 minutes later our food arrived from salsa guy. I placed card on table in hopes of getting ticket ASAP. She immediately appeared with ticket and an apology if she came off rude or careless but had plenty of excuses as to why. Funny how the apology wasn’t necessary until time to cash in your tip. Food was typical frozen tex-mex, nothing impressive by any means. Customer service the way it is will have it closed within a few months. Will NOT RETURN.
I love this place. Went in for the first time tonight and I absolutely loved the food and the service is unbeatable. This place is way better than 72%! Very busy restaurant, so make sure to call ahead if you have a big party!! I will definitely be back!
