Favorite Chicken Fried Steak. This is my one and only at BoomARang Diner. I’ve never had anything else and probably won’t try anything new. I’ve never liked chicken fried steak due to the gristle, but I have never experienced that with this steak. My first visit here I ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich. When it came out to the table it was almost comical the disproportion of the steak vs bun. It was delicious. Now I get the dinner and share it with my boyfriend because how huge it is. I won’t go anywhere else for chicken fried steak. One visit we even tipped the cook. Keep up the great work BoomARang Claremore! Love you guys!!

Terrible Food Prep. My family has been a fan of Boomarang Diner for quite some time, we don’t eat there a lot but occasionally. We just had one of the worst experiences we have had at a restaurant. First they mistakenly put raw onions in some cheese fries (the waitress actually caught that mistake). Then my wife’s hamburger has raw hamburger meat stuck to the bottom of her bun (not just undercooked, completely raw). Then as I am taking a bite of my hamburger I feel something stringy between my teeth. It turned out to be a hair cooked into the middle of my hamburger patty. They took off the price of my burger, but didn’t offer to cover anything else (my wifes burger, the rest of my meal, anything else). I actually had a gift certificate, so instead of throwing a fit I just gave them the gift certificate…we won’t be needing that as my family would have a hard time going their again.
Great food, neat little cafe.
Classic retro diner. Breakfast all day. Decent pancakes, tastey omelets. Prompt and friendly service.
