Best in Claremore by far!. Food was very good. Will be back!
Worst experience at a Restaurant ever!. Me and my family went there to eat for the first time. We had a huge wait time to be greeted and get our drinks ordered. When the waiter was taking the order for the drinks, I asked about a dessert tres leches and the availability. He assured me they had it available tonight. We also ordered guacamole and cheese sauce. The drinks took quite awhile to get there. My husband ordered the El pollo special, my son 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, and I ordered a taco, chile relleno, and rice and beans. Me and my husband have shellfish allergies and I have fish allergies too. So my husband stops eating and says something doesn’t taste right. My son who eats this same meal everywhere we go, didn’t want to finish it. I could tell, just as my husband that our meals were prepared and then put in a freezer and then re-heated. When I asked for the tres leches dessert he left and came back to tell me I couldn’t have it because it was it frozen solid. He offered me to try another dessert. I ordered the deep fried cheesecake chimichanga (which he brought out not as described on the menu-it had a bunch of strawberry topping -which I’m glad I didn’t have an allergy to.) It was also, on top of that soggy, and not warm at at all. About this time my husband is having anaphylactic shock to seafood cross contamination. We get a (Manager) to our table, I ask him to touch my dessert. He says they don’t go through enough to make it fresh. I ask about the cross contamination, he said we (customers) should disclose all their allergies. They use one grill to cook everything on. So, I explained the dessert was gross and I had to take my husband to the hospital. By the way when a customer is asking questions and you are yelling and arguing with them, don’t expect repeat business. we also saw the waiters, ect standinding around talking in crowds, on cell phones, texting while people had to wait and we did too.BY THE WAY ALL THEIR MENUS SAY THEY HAVE FRESH FOOD! On February 12, 2014 at Moreclaremre.com What sets us apart, says Chef Armando Cobian, is the food and menu selection.El Banquete has a menu of choices to surprise everyone, including seafood dishes like Camarones al mojo de ajo, a shrimp and sweet roasted garlic dish, and pasta dishes with a Mexican flair. There are also at least a dozen different salsas, as well as desserts like cheesecake wrapped in a crispy flour tortilla and garnished with mango, green apple tarts with vanilla ice cream, fried ice cream and the traditional flan. The prices are affordable, and the food is always fresh! Patio dining and private party area available.
Today was my first time at el Banquete and I had the chimiganga with rice and bean I love that they had fast service and they have a friendly atmosphere! #willbetherethisweekend
Nice place!. Good food, service and price. The place is clean including the bathrooms and the guacamole cart no longer makes noise. hahaha
Terrible. Much better options in town. Food is average but rushed. Drinks aren’t bad. They will make guac at your table but after that your can do better just up the road.
I’m sorry to be rude but to all of you who said this place was awesome you either have never had good Mexican and Mexican service or simply don’t have taste buds! The service sucked the three times we went and the food was okay but bland! Very unique style menu and concepts though and I really hope the make it! Best mexican in town is El Azteca
Disappointed. First visit was good, 2nd visit not good at all. apparently they forgot to season the fish tacos, fish couldnt be more bland. kid at register was on the phone (clearly a personal call) kept repeating himself like I was the one not paying attention – seriously irritating. we came late, got the distinct impression they wanted everyone out so they start closing before closing time.
