Boulevard Steakhouse was underwhelming at best. Steak was cooked perfectly, but appetizers and sides were subpar. Nobody wanted to finish the last crab cake so we sent it back untouched. That’s saying something because I love crab cakes.

Boulevard is one of the top rated steakhouses in OKC and Edmond… Yet after visiting it multiple times, it’s just ok… The potential to be fantastic, but consistently falling short to deliver on its promise. In general lines the place is great. A very good atmosphere (the semi-eclectic decor style is tasteful in some areas, and poorly done in others). The service is usually very good. The problem is in the details… Like serving a fairly good tomato-mozzarella salad with no balsamic -A few recommendations: the Cesar salad is good, bone in ribeye is delicious and the lobster cherry sauce is fantastic. You must try their cream brle!

Went here for New Years Eve and the food was fantastic. High end place with high end prices but the food is worth it. The steak florentine was very good and Carnegie Deli cheesecake was amazing. I wish there had been some live music for the night.

This place is pushing the envelope when it comes to what can be accomplished with dry aged meat. A lot of people are going to undercut this place for the price but they’re doing so out of absolute ignorance. This is the only place in Oklahoma City where you can find any steak which has been aged longer than 40 days in a decent manner, at the proper temperature and in the proper moisture environment. They have experimented with aging out cuts of meat to over 100 days. Those with exceptional taste should make it apparent to their server at the table and request a list of rare meat selections currently available from the kitchen. Keep in mind also that well prepared dry aged meats are much more protein dense and lower in water density. This guarantees that your Beef will be more flavorful than anything you can pick up at the grocer. The service here can be is mixed as in any other restaurant. If you want astute service ask questions which show you have a good understanding of what can be done with the foods they focus on. A meal for two at this facility can easily top $200 with drinks and is worth absolutely every penny! I recommend a rare 12 ounce dry aged fillet cut which was aged in excess of 60 days. Ask to visit the kitchen and see the cut of meat before it is prepared. Ask to learn about the process and show an interest in what this experimental kitchen is doing with a simple cut of beef. What they’re doing is far from simple.

Incompetent help. We were to meet a party who had made reservations. We arrived in time and were told that there were no reservations under any spelling of the name. We left. Later we received a call wanting to no where we were as that they were waiting and had been waiting since the appointed hour. We do not know about the food but if they cannot hire help capable of reading and operating equipment, it is doubtful that the food is any better.

$$$$ TOO PRICEY $$$$ FOOD SO SO. Really?.. We went on a Tuesday evening. We were met in the foyer draped with cheap velour curtains covering the doors into the Resturant. The hostest asked if we had reservations? I said no. (Three cars outside in front of Resturant). She said she would go check to see if they could somehow work us in. She went through the velour curtains and was gone for about five minutes. She returned and said she had worked us in. She led us into the under crowded Resturant (people at only two tables). We were seated in a booth. About five minutes a waitress came to take our drink orders. One of very few trips. We placed our orders after she brought our drinks, and bread. Salads came in a reasonable time ( Caesar, and wedge salads ). Steaks came in a reasonable time ( 5oz Filet with twice baked potato half, and 22oz blackened bone-in Rib Eye with Au Gratin potatoes ). All food was so so tasting. Never seen waitress after we got our entrees. Had to ask another waitress to have her bring our bill. SHOCK SHOCK OUR BILL WAS $158.xx. REALLY !! The salads, and potatoes were ala carte and pricy. At $39.00 for a 5oz filet, and $49.00 for a Rib Eye, you would think the sides would be included. This is far from a five star Resturant with four course dinners at this price. I have never paid this kind of prices at the Golf clubs, and a Yacht clubs I belong too. Will not be back. Hope they enjoy my money, but they will not again!!11 Mar, 2015$$$$$$ TOO EXPENSIVE $$$$$$. First off we were met at the cheap velour entry foyer, by a hostess that ask for our reservations. DUH Monday night and three cars outside! She said she would have to go check to see if they could work us in SOMEHOW. She went behind the cheap velour curtains and was gone for about five minutes. She finally came back thru the cheap velour curtains and said she had found us a table. She led us thru the cheap velour curtains into a empty Resturant with two tables with six people at one table, and three people at the other table. DUH DUH How dramatic was that? So busy they had to find us a table, and took five minutes To do it? We finally got seated in the under crowded resturant. LUCKY US !! Total service was barely acceptable. Steaks and sides were so-so, and over cooked from Med-rare we ordered. When got the bill we realized ALL THE SIDES WERE ALA-CARTE !! My wife had a glass of wine, Cesar salad, twice baked potato, and a 5oz Filet. I had a Vodka Martin, salad wedge, baked potato, 22oz rib in rib eye ( nothing special about bone in that’s always throw away trimmings). Bill was 158.xx. GASP, GASP !! I can afford it, but that is robbery. It certainly WAS NOT in the class of a four course, five star dinner in any way. This is far from a five star Resturant by far. Sorry to pop their bubble! Save your money. This is a rip off!!!
