Great food! Steak was over cooked more medium than medium rare. Really enjoyed the food although my steak was a tad over done. Would go back. I do suggest a reservation.
I have been here twice and wasn’t wowed on either visit. The dining room is well maintained and comfortably designed (excusing that shabby purple drape thing in the entrance). The music was a lot of old Rat Pack (Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra) kept a low volume. On our last visit, we started off with crab cakes which fell apart when they were touched and did not taste good when we used spoons to eat the crumbles. Salads were good. My ribeye was cooked to order and had a good flavor but it was about 50% fat. The garlic seared asparagus was cooked to be tender while not mushy and the au gratin potatoes were about average. The New York cheesecake was frozen rock hard and inedible as the desert fork was bending trying to cut it. The first server we had was fantastic. We got our drinks, appetizers, and salads in a very timely manner. Then they switched servers for the entrees and things slowed way down. Another server brought desert and it got even slower. It took him 22 minutes to process my credit card after I finally got him to bring the bill. Overall, it wasn’t bad but that $100.00 plus per person price point demands a little more attention to details.
