Should have read the reviews before eating here. I have never seen such chaos at a fast food restaurant. I don’t think any of the orders were correct. Wait times for the food were 15-30 minutes! Unreal! The chicken was piping hot, but incredibly greasy. The fries were cold, as well as the corn on the cob. The butter never melted on the corn!! All in all it was a terrible experience, with awful food, and I will not be returning.
Service outrageous!! Very shoddy!!. This restaurant is poorly ran. Went thru drive thru ordered strip dinner and 9 piece chicken was advised after paying to pull up to front of store so the could continue taking orders even though no one was behind me- after pulling up looked around and noticed another 4 car waiting. After 28 minutes one of the other driver waiting went in, I drove back around the store back up to window and asked for refund only to be told food was ready after another 5 min at window and 33 total did I leave. Now the good part when got home opened chicken the breast were soft on one side and very very greasy and to top it all off they shorted my on the chicken – funny! Buyer Beware and avoid this place!!
Love Popeye’s, hate this location’s service. I live in Edmond, but I won’t buy chicken from this location. For all the years I’ve lived in Edmond, this location always gets our order wrong, doesn’t have chicken ready, or it’s old and tastes bad. It’s worth the travel to go to Oklahoma City (NW Expressway). Never had a problem there.
Great chicken poor service rotten attitudes. I go at 12:05 ,not many customers,no spicy chicken ready at lunch time …really!!!same thing at 6:00,main dinner time ,no food ready…poor fast food service ,most employees have poor attitudes…the good employees don’t last long
Not a Popeye oklahoma fan. If you eat Popeye’s chicken say in chicago or lousiana, then yes you will love it. I’m not sure exactly what chains outside of southern and soul food locations are missing, but we are missing something. It just doesnt tast the same here in oklahoma city. Could be the reason why so many locations have shut down. But then i cant understand why there are still various new locations popping up around oklahoma.
Poor service, seriously rude & usually slow. Why do those people even have a job? Where is the owner? I’ve only encountered one kind/polite man in all of my visits. I never expect much from the staff as I go because I like the food but the last time my family & I got food & took it home halfway through a chicken strip my husband found uncooked chicken. The owner seriously needs to make some major changes if they care anything about their business. 95% of staff should be replaced with people who WANT to work!
I came to this place maybe thirty minutes after they opened. I went through the drive thru and ordered my food, the first thing I notices was the absolutely POOR customer service! The person taking my order was rude, didn’t speak clearly, and treated me like I was stupid. When I pulled up to the window I saw all the staff just standing around and talking and laughing. I gave the guy my money and got my food. When I got home (less than a mile away) and started to eat my food I noticed that EVERYTHING was cold! On top of that they messed up my order! I’m never going back here, this was just too ridiculous. I have worked in multiple fast food places and have never experienced this before.
