Great!. The food is always fresh & VERY good (better than most other taco buenos, even), the workers are very nice, and even though it’s usually kind of busy the food is served fast!
Unpleasant experience!. My husband and I stopped here to eat inside today at about 5:20 pm. We ordered 2 #1 combos. My husband gave the cashier $13.00. She looked at one of the fives and went to the back with it and was gone 4 or 5 minutes(not kidding) and then came back and my husband asked her what was wrong. She said the five was old and she wanted to make sure it was alright because they had problems at another store. TACO BUENO INVEST IN COUNTERFEIT MARKERS. Don’t make your customers wait! Suffice to say it didn’t make eating here a pleasant experience. It was just an old $5 bill my husband got in change at a convience store earlier in the day. And two more things, the dining area needed cleaning especially around the trash receptacles and the bean burritos were a joke! There was this huge tortilla with about a tablespoon and a half of refried beans inside. I am definitely not a fan of this place! This place was not busy, so there was no reason for it to be dirty.Taco Bueno needs to retrained their staff here. I wished I took a photo of the bean burrito so everyone could see how tiny the portion of the refried beans were.
What Is It About This Place? It’s BUSY!. Last evening, we craved cheap Tex-Mex, so we ran up to the Taco Bueno in Edmond. We’ve been here numerous times in the past couple years. It must be great, as it’s been crazy busy every since time we show up, or even drive by. Last night, for example, there were at least eight cars in the drive through the entire time were were in (and they were moving, BTW 🙂 ). We got our usual mess of BOBs and stuff. It was tasty (except Erin felt her tortilla was stale). The iced tea was great as usual (please, Taco B, keep brewing the real stuff, and DON’T go with the pre-made stuff, it’s nasty!). Service was very friendly! Our check was $23.87, good value, and fast.28 Oct, 2013One of the Better Buenos. We like Taco Bueno; it’s decent tasting food that isn’t burgers, and fast and inexpensive. We have been to the Edmond location numerous times, and it is fast and gets the orders right. It was even so a couple Mondays ago, 14 Oct. We were in the Edmond area, and needed chow quickly, and picked up a number of BOBs. Hot, fast, and tasty. The check was $23.50, good value. billhensley.wordpress.com
Bueno at its best.. Ok lets admit it,….I’m a fan. That having been said the Bueno here deserves a lot of praise. Fast food isnt an easy thing to do much less do very well but the managment at this location was doing great and making a ton of money. If you dont have time but want something tasy might I suggest the Muchaco which I think is part of platter #4
