Ted’s just isn’t what it used to be since they started expanding. The food feels really generic anymore, and the prices are absurd. Ted’s has never been cheap by any means, but they’ve priced themselves out of the realm of sanity. $16 for chimichanga and one side…that’s obscene. The food is still decent, but it just doesn’t merit the astronomical prices anymore. We’ve started to order take out from Ted’s at least three times in the last couple months, and every time, we end up ordering from somewhere else because it’s so overpriced.

Teds seems to be a staple here in Oklahoma for Mexican Food. After so many years living here in Oklahoma, we decided to give it a try. The Edmond Teds was easy enough to find, and the host and wait staff were very welcoming. After being seated, we looked at the menu there is a decent amount of options for everyone, which is very typical in Mexican food establishments. My husband decided to try the Chicken Burritos, while I tried their Single Steak Fajitas. The chicken burrito was swimming in cheese sauce and had good flavors from the chicken, but was pretty salty (luckily my husband absolutely loves salt, haha). My Steak Fajitas were good, but it could stand to have more steak pieces for the price we pay (especially since it felt like more than half the dish was just onions). The flour tortillas they provided were OK I prefer the thin ones, but it was at least nice to see them making their own tortillas through a window you pass by when being seated. Their salsa tasted like it came out of a jar, and the cheese sauce from a Velveeta package. To be honest, I think my favorite part were the thin chips they serve, haha. With how the food quality was average and not anything too crazy, I found the price for the food a little high. It may just be my love for more authentic Mexican Food, but I doubt that I will come back. However, I can see why other people like Teds its great for families and the flavors & options can be appealing.

Always a good choice. Only problem is everyone else likes is too. Be prepared to wait especially if you have a big group. My wife and I go regularly and will continue to visit in the future.

Don’t know why this place is always so busy? It is very loud, food is bland, and service is only fair.

Best Mexican food from here to Memphis. My husband and I live in the Memphis, TN area and we go to Ted’s everytime we come here!! it is fantastic food and absolutely worth the wait! If you go on a weekend you should go early or be ready to wait an hour. You can have a wonderful margarita while you wait! 🙂 family friendly too!

Worst experience ever!. I have never been treated so poorly in any restaurant. My husband likes their food, but I cannot eat Mexican food. I went there with him thinking they would surely have some other item on their menu for other people that cannot eat spicy foods, and they did; they were children’s meals only. I attempted to order a child’s meal and the waitress said they don’t allow that. I explained I couldn’t eat the Mexican food for health reasons, and she said she would get her manager to come over and see if he would make an exception. He came to our table and could plainly see there were two other adults ordering full entrees, but started telling me they can’t allow adults to do that or he loses money because they can enjoy the complimentary items brought to the table for others. He was speaking so loudly that others were looking around to see what we going on. He continued and said he could charge me more for the kids meal to cover the complimentary items. Wouldn’t you say those are not complimentary items? I am a woman in my 50’s and he could plainly see I wasn’t trying to pull something over on him. I have never been so embarrassed in a restaurant in my life! I was going to complain to the store owner, but was informed that was him. I was appalled at how Stephen treated me and have no plans to enter that establishment again. This man is the general manager at Ted’s in Edmond and was unbelievably rude and obnoxious.
