What’s not to like here? Superb selection of breakfast goodies, great wait staff, and it’sclean. Not a fan of the prices, but the portions definitely back it up. Along with prices, you are getting what you pay for…quality ingredients. I will be back!
We finally went to try breakfast here. It is much like many breakfast lunch places in atmosphere. The menu is basic with the addition of the hash dishes. We both got hash with sour dough toast. I must say the food was very good and the portions were large. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The homemade strawberry jam was tasty. The Hash will be added to our approved breakfast place list.
The loaded hash was delicious! Love that everything is made to order with great ingredients. They just need more help for how busy it got for a late breakfast on a Saturday.
I thought it was great! Other reviews indicate substandard service is a problem but this was not the case today. The creamer for my coffee came out with black bits in it. It’s because they added vanilla bean to their creamer. A nice touch but maybe communicate with customers about anything off putting they may see BEFORE they have to ask you about it. The food was superb and the service was prompt. Gonna bring my wife ASAP.
Let me say, the food is quite good. The menu has a lot of options…and those things were their saving grace. I walked in to find just 3 other tables already seated, and while I assumed we seated ourselves, there was no sign advising me to do so, and neither of the employees acknowledged me. I had a tough time finding a clean table, and finally selected the least messy one and politely asked the server to wipe it down when she came my way a couple minutes later. The server wasn’t unpleasant, just totally indifferent. My friend and I ordered the western hash, which came out quickly and accurately. The portions are generous, and the ingredients fresh. The gravy had an interesting smoky flavor that I’m on the fence about, but the biscuits were light, fluffy, and perfect. We finished, and waited awhile, but no one came to clear our plates or leave a check. We finally asked one of the servers, who dropped it on the table and curtly told us to pay at the register. Bear in mind, there are now five tables seated and three servers, so the place was slow. All in all, I might try it one more time, but if the substandard service is repeated, it will be the last time.
Would like to comment on the food but we never even got to order, after waiting for 25 minutes. It wasn’t busy either. Our part of 6 paid for our drinks and left.
