Bad Bad Bad. I had the meatloaf sliders and Mac & cheese. From the first bite of the meatloaf it was very bland and burnt. My mac and cheese tasted like Kraft but with a really chunky cheese. The service wasn’t bad at first but it got slower and slower as we ate. One of the people with us got the basil pizza and the bottom was burnt and the taste was very very bland. My Father got the pork chop and although it had good taste it was very dry.

Excellent ambiance, menu was a fresh take on pub fare. Service was friendly, Bryan the manager, spent a few minutes with all the guests and the food was awesome…recommend the bangers and mash with the smears for an appetizer…
Food is slightly above average although the menu is dated and has run its course. Service was good until it wasn’t then it got worse.
My husband and I went to Blackbird for the first time last night for dinner and we were very pleased. The atmosphere was great and the good was also delicious. We loved the Apple Jicama Slaw. My husband ordered the Memphis pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. We would definitely go back again. The service was great when she came around but she didn’t check on us very often. But, you can’t really judge the service by just one server.
Great service and cocktails however the food did not live up to the prices. Everything was bland or tasted terrible. The shepherds pie was disgusting. Their Ruben sandwich was more like dry meat and sour-kraut on soggy toast.12 Jan, 2014Not Very Good. Went in for lunch I ordered the Shaved Corned Beef Reuben on Pumpernickel, The corn beef was dry and the meat to saurkraut ratio made the sandwich more of a sauerkraut sandwich than anything else. The fries were delicious but the portion size was pretty small. My husband had the Beef & Truffle Oil Shepherds Pie that the waitress said was very tasty… It was not! The shepherd’s pie was awful, the worst thing I have tasted in years! We also ordered the White Bean & Sun-Dried Tomato Bruschetta as a starter, The flat bread was pretty good but the bruschetta was bland and frankly took away from the taste of the flat bread. The drinks the waitress recommended were pretty good but I suppose they should have been considering they cost $9 a piece. The service was not very good, through out our meal I could see a male server eying me us the entire time, however we rarely saw our waitress. She brought us cocktails but no water until we waived down another member of the wait staff and even then we did not get our water until 1/2 way through our meal. The only way I would ever go back would be to have a cocktail, but after our food experience we will not eat here again.
