Best SWEET Tea in town!
Tasty Hot. If I’m craving for some deep fried liver, this is where I go to. Every single time I’ve come here has been during lunch time. Last time I went, I got the liver combo. I loved how tasty and fresh it is. It’s piping hot and I usually get the corn on the cob for my side. All other times, I’ve ordered their chicken pieces combo or a family meal. I love their fried chicken, especially the thighs and legs. They’re juicy and freshly cooked every time I’ve had them. Their gravy is not bad….it’s pretty average. Other sides I’ve had that I liked were the corn nuggets and cheese sticks. Cheese sticks are just cheese sticks. If they’re served hot, the cheese is soft and flavorful. Corn nuggets are a pleasant change for the side in the event I get tried of corn on the cob but want something slightly sweet still. I have to look out for their mini poppers and maybe I’ll get around to trying the gizzard combo sometime soon. But tomorrow, I think it’s going to be some fried chicken or liver for me. Yum!
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!. I just picked up a 3-piece cat fish dinner though the drive thru—-was probably cooked an hour or more earlier. The french fried were also old. Will not be going back there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered the 4 piece express chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. I got 3 small strips, 1 strip of batter, instant potatoes with gravy, and bland green beans. My dog wouldn’t eat the potatoes and gravy. I won’t be going back.
I’d give it a low B. Chicken express is alright from the food to the price and service. The chicken isnt bad. The thing I liked the most was their fried corn and their OU student meal. I would go back just for that.
Greasy lately but normally good. Mgmt does try hard to make up for mistakes.
Better than Church’s. At least CE’s chicken doesn’t give me diarrhea like Churches.Chicken Express is the usual fast food salty and greasy chicken, but hey that’s why you go through that drive-in window. Not inexpensive considering how cheap chicken meat is. The chicken tenders are pretty good, slap them between a bun and you have an awesome sandwich. The biscuits are decent, and the white gravy is typical fast food style. I don’t know what they cook the food in but its like Crisco or something.
