Awful Experience. I ordered food from Chinese Express online and called them after 2 hours of waiting. I reconfirmed the order I sent online and was informed that they were running slow and it would be delivered in an hour. After waiting for delivery for an additional 1 1/2 hours I called them again. Unfortunately, the language barrier between the employee I was talking to on the phone resulted in the employee yelling at me. As a response, I politely requested that my order be canceled and then the employee hung up on me. This has been the worst and most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a business. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Not Good. I really need to quit believing the ratings. This is the first time I visited this restaurant. The ratings looked good and it was on my way home. My first clue was all the empty parking spaces. My second clue was how shabby the place was. My third clue was the lady lounging in a lounge chair behind the counter. Then when she took my order and went back into the kitchen, I never heard anything cooking, at all. I thought I heard a refrigerator close, that was it. Obviously the food was heated somehow but now I wonder if it was microwaved? The egg roll tastes old. The crab ragoon has an old tough quality to it. The broccoli on the entree appears to be old also. Won’t go back.
Amazing. Ok so I am new to norman and I really wanted some chinese food. my roomies had tried china wonder and said the food was not that good and the service was rude. so after some looking online I stumbled upon chinese express. my order was correct cheap portions where nicely sized and deliverd fast and the food was so hot I had to wait for it to cool. The crab ragoons are fantastic best ive ever had and the hot and sour soup was amazing. sweet and sour chicken is not to greasy and pepper steak and shrimp lomain was full of flavor. I was also able to order online which I love and pay with a credit card. I will most deffinatly be ordering from here again soon. i went with the dinner for two great deal and I will have leftovers for tommorow.
Always Hot and Delicious.. We’ve never had a bad experience. They are always here within their 40 minutes and everything is hot. My husband loves the garlic chicken. Not many places have it anymore. The meat they use is also high quality.
Overall, Great Place. Pros: 1. When the cook does a good job (90% of the time), the food is delicious. 2. Sweet Cheese Wontons… Yum! 3. Can call in and pick up 15 minutes later.Cons: 1. When the cook does a bad job, the food is just okay. 2. Delivery takes forever (usually at least 45 minutes). 3. Sometimes communication is difficult – especially on the phone. 4. They are often very busy and you may have to wait at the counter for a good 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to help you. (Also applies to being put on hold when calling in.) 5. They won’t deliver less than $10 or $15 worth of food depending on who you talk to. They used to when I lived much farther away than I now do. I understand why, but I still don’t like it.I found this place when I moved to Norman for school and I’ve tried most of the other places in town and this is my favorite food. If I’m looking for good service, I go to Panda Garden or the mall, but those are just fast food knock offs IMO. If my favorite chinese restaurant from Tulsa (51st & Memorial- Schezuan) ever expands in to Norman, I will probably never eat here again, but as it stands, they are the best in town. Of course, the one in Tulsa has the best chinese food I’ve ever tasted so I expect a lot…
Wow! So I ordered $40 worth of food from this place an hour an a half ago. I have called 3 times and have been told it will be here any minute. I literally live 1.1 miles from this place!! I couldn’t even go pick it up bc they kept telling me it was already on the way. The last time we called we told them it was rediculous and wanted a discount for what is for sure to be COLD food and they said they would take off 10% percent!
