This is sort of like your local scoop shop like Coldstone or Marbleslab only better. The custard is great and the toppings make it better. They don’t have a million to choose from but by far plenty. The guys working were super nice and helpful. They got a good vote from me and 2 sticky thumbs up from my 3 year old.
Every second Sunday they serve a belgen waffle with a scoop of custard. They offer fixed ideas, but have a create your own option. It is wonderful!
Water for 30 minutes while several other people got served as I waited.. The title pretty much gives it away.

At the end of the dreary strip mall that has a Little Caesar’s, an ugly empty lot that once housed a Blockbuster Video and a Payday Loans (one of those loan businesses that prey on financially desperate people), there lies the Custard Factory. It is probably among the best three or four places to get some desert in Norman. I definitely like their custard (it’s not ice cream, people). Sometimes I get the vanilla, other times I get the chocolate. I usually get a concrete (custard with one topping). It’s simple, but delicious. For some reason, I have yet to try one of the specialty concretes.Recently, I ordered a vanilla concrete with chocolate flakes. It was a lot better than the dinner I ate about an hour prior to coming to this place. There’s not really an atmosphere or much seating. Most of the seats are outside on the sidewalk. I don’t like eating outside so I had to eat in my car. I wish that Custard Factory could expand by taking over the former Blockbuster lot and getting rid of the Payday Loans so that there can be more seating inside.
