Wonderful local restaraunt!. I absolutely adore Dara Maries! They have excellent food, the owners and staff are great people and the desserts are to die for. No complaints here!
What’s not to adore?. Seriously people. If you need cookies or sweets for a gathering or party, get them here and your friends will thank you. They have the best cookies, quiche, employees, etc. The service is impeccable. The cookies and brownies always delight. I guess if I could change anything, I’d add a few more tables so more people could eat there for lunch. There are only a few tables and you feel like a bully standing over people waiting to snatch their table as soon as they are finished. I just don’t think dine-in is their schtick though. They love to bake and they do it oh-so-well. Not to mention they have a darling gift area if you need to pick something up quick. You’ll most likely find something cute for a friend there when you’re buying yourself some sweets! Don’t miss this. It’s not in a noticeable location, but it’s worth seeking out. These people are the best!
I have enjoyed lunch and delectable treats from Dara Marie’s. It was the first place I thought of when I needed to make a bakery order. I have been taking cookies to a school in OKC that has zero parent involvement. The teachers reward the class with the highest attendance for the month with a cookie party. They get to decorate their cookies using all sorts of fun stuff. Of course, the sugar cookies are the star. Last month, I ordered the cookies 3 days in advance. When I went to pick them up (the day of the event) they had lost my order. They seemed unscathed by their mistake and said that it would be 2 hrs before I could pick them up. I also mentioned the specialty of my order (the cookies need to be flat) they were perturbed but did it. I had to make accommodations for the delay. They had no apologies. This month, they took my order and then called me back to say they were not going to be able to fulfill it. It would take too much time and effort to make my cookies flat. It was as if they said that my order was not important. It may not be the largest order they have but I am certain that it is the most appreciated and anticipated. Boooo to Dara Marie’s. Cookies and Cards took my order, charged me far less and are twice as delicious.
Great Cookies!. Our office got sandwich boxes for lunch once. I got the chicken salad based on the reviews. Uhhh, it tasted like cool whip or some sweet concoction with chicken in it. Won’t get that again but their cookies are very good. Maybe I’ll get a turkey sandwich and try that…..
Yum!!. The chicken salad and asian salad are sooooo good! This place smelled wonderful and was very popular, and after eating there, I could certainly see why. They also have amazing baked goods!
Everyone, including myself, loves Dara Marie’s cookies! I have served them at parties at my house and consider them to be an indulgent treat. My church always gets their cookies for Christmas & Easter. Their breakfast and lunch items are good also. Just had the Asian salad for lunch…very tasty. Wish it was open on the weekends.
Love the lunches and caesar salad. Desserts are trying to be fancy, they may look pretty bu I have yet to eat a good one. The hours are terrible wish they served dinner.
