We watched people lining up for the place next door, and wondered why when this little gem was steps away! Florentine Quiche had little crust, so felt healthier. The gorganzola cream sauce elevated it to sublime. Brisket Benedict was not the dregs of brisket you might expect, but a full flavored order of brisket on a crispy slab of Texas toast with just the right amount of sauce. Smothered Steak and Eggs was perfectly portioned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Layered atop creamy jalapeno cheese grits, the entire plate was amazing! Definitely coming back!
The most deplorable unprofessional service I have ever witnessed from management. They did not open on time, and served alcohol in error before taking it away after the mistake was realized. I only received my check after waiting over ten minutes (with no other patrons at the time) upon flagging staff down and having to ask. They ran my card incorrectly, had to void the transaction and complete again. I mentioned the grievances adding up to the manager. She was confrontational and hostile before walking away with a dismissive hand gesture. She was then heard loudly yelling about the incident in which she used the f word. But hey, the food was good…
Best kept secret of Norman.. I frequent this restaurant often. In fact they usually know what our family orders when we come. The food is always fresh. The chef is creative and creates truly delicious meals for us every time. It’s on Main St. and it’s easy to miss except for the new awning in the unfortunate colors of yellow and red. Still don’t let that deter you. It is fantastic – food, service, prices. You won’t regret going.
New Year’s Eve dinner. Wonderful evening! The food was excellent. We were late for our reservation but everyone was pleasant and glad to see us even though they had a big crowd. The giant prawn appetizer was delicious as was the entire meal. We will continue to return often.
