Drive thru service. Went to drive thru 12th St Norman Ok, on Saturday night after what I would consider ‘dinner’ hour. Spent close to $20 for 3 meals. They stuffed everything in one bag that could not be closed so food would get cold faster etc. And I did not have room to try and take things out to make sure it was all there….sure enough when I got home they left out the medium curly fries.Upon calling them about this the typical answer was if you want to come back we will give you the fries. Sure, I want to drive across town with gas at $3+ per gallon for fries while my burger gets cold! Come on! There has to be a better way to handle these things. $$ are $$ you know. I just want them to get the order right. It can’t be that hard. Oh and I think there was something in there about the bags costing them money?!!!!!(therefor the one bag option) Are you frickin kidding me?
I love the breakfast but that’s about it. The burgers are cold on stale buns. The fries are never fresh and they can never get my order right. I get the extreme sasauge sandwich with a hash brown on it (when they get the order right)
Burger fanatic. As I have tried just about every chain burger place there is in the metro and usually like the mom&pop types better, sometimes on a trip or in a hurry, a fast food burger is in order. Jack-in-the-box fills this slot well from the very reasonable $1.50 basic to the sirloin burger and some with available sourdough bread, all in all a good place to stop if you are in a hurry to eat and go on down he road.
Criminally Negligent. Don’t get me wrong, I love Jack in the Box. But the cardiologist has me down to 3 eggs a week, so I’ve been getting a grilled sandwich for breakfast. I tried to order one the other morning and they wouldn’t let me substitute hash browns. Okay, fries. Well, what I got was without a doubt last night’s fries. They were dented, leathery, room temperature… they were hard to chew and tasteless. Denting usually only happens when a fry has been sitting for hours. The fact that 90% were dented tellls me it was likely they were serving yesterday’s leftovers. BEWARE! If they serve yesterday’s fries, they may be serving yesterday’s burgers as well. There were like 12 people standing around in the kitchen and nobody knows how to make French Fries? Disgusting. Incompetent management and employees. Who cares attitude. There’s a McDonalds and a Burger King just south of this location, both of which serve much better fries.
Wrong every time. I live fairly close to Jack in the Box, so when I need food in a pinch I eat here. My husband loves the tacos and I can’t complain with much of the menu. Luckily I’m not a picky eater, because half the time I get something different than what I ordered. Ask for a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, get an egg and cheese croissant. Ask for raspberry tea, get regular tea. Etc…My main complaint, however, is with the staff. I know it’s mainly high schoolers, but any time I have paid in cash I have been given back the wrong amount of change. After the first couple times I just started using my debit card. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Unless my husband is begging for it, I think we’ll just make the drive to another fast food place down the road.
Friendly, and generally good. Lots of options, when you want something a little different.I don’t like burgers most places, but their angus burger is really good.I get a craving fairly regularly for their fried, filled churros and their chocolate overload cake. Haha, I actually want some now that I think about them. The best part is that the staff is very friendly 85% of the time. The other 15%, they are OK but not anything to write home about.Clean, fast, good.
How refreshing to have a fast food restaurant like thus in Norman finally. They have the great menu, plus servers with great smiles and good manners. They place stays clean. Even though the drive thru line may get long, it does not take too long to get your order.
