If you want chicken tenders this is a good place to get them. Tasty sauces, decent fries, happy service – in the world of fast food you could do a lot worse.
Went through the drive thru Saturday night, it took us forever to decide what to order because we haven’t been in so long. The male employee was so patient and polite. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Fried peach pie was amazing!
Pretty Good. Every time I have gone the food has been hot and prepared well. The service has been friendly and fast. If your into greedy fried food this is the place for you. I personally love the wings and fried pickles. Can’t be good for you, because there is nothing SLIM about it except for the name. Definitely a guilty pleasure.
Good Quick Lunch Spot. This is a good spot for a quick lunch if you work around the area or go to OU. It has a good selection of combos you can choose from and lots of different sauces for dipping your tenders or having your wings tossed in. What I like about this place is that they also have these sides that I absolutely love: fried pickles, fried mushrooms and fried okra. I’ve only ever had their fried mushrooms and there’s a reason why – it’s so mouthwateringly good. Not a lot of places serve fried mushrooms so this is a treat for me. Only thing missing is fried string beans. Staff is friendly and food comes out fresh and fast during lunch time. Price isn’t bad either for what you get. Thumbs up from me!

Fried pickles are too salty. I like their wraps. Love their slim sauce! Saw a kid running around in the kitchen one day…I do mean a kid, maybe around 8 years old. Seemed odd. Very slow service.03 Feb, 2013Love the food. Service is slow.
Terrible Service. I heard how great this place was. I went to check it out with good expectations. The employees were rude, looked unhappy, and were arguing. I ordered, then asked for ranch w/ my to go order. The employee scoffed and told the chef who began to complain about my request. After getting the food, I instantly notice they didnt give me any fries. So, I had to go ask them to fix it. Then after leaving, I realized they didnt give me the right combo and overcharged me, but I did get the ranch. The food tasted okay, but it was nothing special. I will never be going back to Slim Chickens.
