This family owned and operated restaurant serves up the best Thai cuisine in the OKC metro. Delicious variety of entrees and appetizers – always fresh. The two things that slightly diminish the experience are the high prices and inconsistent wait staff.

Amazing dishes! It is still hard for me to grasp the thought of this resturant being in Oklahoma, I moved here from Dallas over a year ago but being a California native I thought the best Thai food was on the west coast but I have been enlitened. The depth of the flavors in the currys at Sweet Basil are mind blowing to say the least let alone the consistancy of how thier dish is served. It also has great atmosphere if you are alone or with company. I will return!!!

We have Literally been here for 55 minutes and still no food. Thai Delight would have had my food out 50 minutes ago! Omg! It’s curry without the hurry. Going back to Thai Delight.

Awful experience. My sister had never had thai food. So while back in Oklahoma for the holidays I met her here so she could try it. Our experience wasnt that great. 2 orders of massaman curry and a seafood soup. Sis didn’t want spice on her massaman, I wanted #3 spicy, daughter didn’t want spice or mushrooms in her soup. I didn’t get any spice in my massaman at all and it was entirely too sweet. Way more than it should have been. Diabetic coma anyone? Daughters soup came with mushrooms then was sent back. Then came out way too spicy for her to eat (no indication it was spicy on menu at all).I was hoping to sell my sister on thai food but this poor quality thai didn’t do the job. Sorry guys I won’t be back.

Used to be good. Sweet basil used to be a very awesome Thai restaurant. Recently I ordered fresh rolls and green curry to be delivered to my house. There was no problem with the delivery besides the expensive charge. The fresh rolls were very good, not going to lie. But the curry was absolutely horrible. It was the worst green curry I have had. If you want good curry, go to Thai Thai or Thai Kum Koon. They have the best curries on town.

ADDICTING!!!!. TOTALLY AWESOME CURRY! They sometimes mess up or forget items, but the curry is like nowhere else!

Loved it!. Food was great! Pad Thai was hot, fresh, not too heavy on the peanut, but rich. Glass noodles were perfect with that slight crisp bite. Pad Si Io was also great – 4 heat complemented the sweet soy sauce. Noodles were also perfect – thick and gummy. Kao Soi was sweet, spicy, and rich with fresh veggies and crunchy noodles on top. Beef in garlic sauce was awesome – not heavy on the garlic, but the star with thin beef and firm veggies to back it up. Also had the fresh rolls – seemed very large and mint leaves inside. We weren’t crazy about them- maybe they were to green tasting, but the wrapper was thick and gummy (which is a good thing!), and the sauces served with it were light peanut and a really good tangy sweetsour. Rice was soft, fluffy, and generous. ALL portions were generous.Service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We got there a bit late, so the kitchen staff left before we got to try dessert. Sadness! Extremely well priced, pleasant warm decor, deceptively large inside, with a fun fish tank to peer into as you pass. Nice location in downtown!
