The food is probably not what I would recommend here. It gets super packed during the school terms. The boba here is very delicious. I love how they don’t over-sweeten all of the drinks and you can actually taste the tea. The service is great and the servers are super attentive and nice!

I would skip on this place. They have some cool tea options, but they have messed up my order every single time I’ve been here. Also, I ordered chicken entree and it had two very small thin pieces of chicken, for $8 not so great. The flavor is ok, but someone just can’t get they’re act together.

Wrong Drink Order Fixed!. I called in an order for a drink on Saturday. I picked up my drink and left thinking it looked a little off in color, but that maybe I was just wrong. I tasted it and it was definitely wrong. It wasn’t gross so I decided I’ll just keep it, even though I wasn’t as excited for my drink as I had originally been. 5 minutes later I receive a call from them letting me know they gave me the wrong one and I could either come in for a new drink or they’ll put down my name and I can get a free one another day! I went back since I was still on campus corner and they bumped my drink up to a large for free. I thought this was a very respectable thing to do especially since I had already left and they didn’t need to call.

The worst fried rice ever!. Just an hour ago, I ordered chef’s special fried rice to go. I know it’s usually very good and it’s my favorite menu there. When I came home and opened the container and tasted it, it was just horrible. It was under-seasoned and despite being the most expensive fried rice item there, it basically had nothing in it. It was supposed to have chicken, beef, and shrimp but I found 1 tiny tiny baby shrimp and tiny bits of shredded meat of chicken. Not to mention totally uncooked cubed carrot pieces. It was such a disappointment. It cost 10 bucks and it was basically trash. Just a container full of greasy rice

Excellent Cuisine. I have eaten at Tea Cafe many times over the past 8-10 years and it’s always great. Try something a little different like the Beef Chow Fun (Stir fried flat noodles) or the Chicken Fried rice with brown rice instead of white. Also the Kung Pao Chicken is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We live in Houston where great Chinese food is available and expected. Tea Cafe is right at the top with the cuisine in the Houston area. When we go back to visit Oklahoma we always stop in Tea Cafe – Always good. I wish there was one in Houston!!

Love. This place has the best teas I’ve ever had. I am constantly ordering the Blueberry Lychee Green Tea with boba. It’s fantastic. The stir-fried flat rice noodles with beef are amazing, as is the combination fried rice. I’ve never had anything bad here and I make it a weekly stop if I can.

Was That Really Food?. Ordered some takeout which consisted of the fish ball soup dinner portion which is supposed to include the add-ons of poached egg, broccoli, and snow peas. I had to explain to the girl taking my order there was a difference in the lunch portion and and dinner portion after the manager or cook had already explained to her. Still had that deer in headlights sound in her voice. I should have gone next door to the grocery store and bought an 89 cent microwavable cup of Ramen noodles. I would have been tastier than the concoction they threw together. The fish balls were obviously not real fish, and had the texture and bite of rubber. They forgot all ingredients. The broth tasted like flavorless boiled water and they threw in a few pieces of cabbage and green onions. No egg, broccoli, or snow peas. I called back to complain and they acted like I had the problem. I’ve eaten here a handful of times hoping it will be better, but the food consistently disappoints. This was my last visit. I’m not going back and I suggest you do the same.
