Best thai food I’ve ever had!! Been coming here for years and drive down from oklahoma city just to eat here! I even lived in the Asian district in OKC and nothing in the area even comes close to the quality of food you get at Thai Kumkoon.
Really great lunch buffet, dinner prices aren’t too bad. Some vegetables are clearly from a can, but otherwise the food is great.
One of Norman’s best. This is a place that I wish I could say was one of Norman’s best secrets. However, it is obviously not a secret anymore. At lunch,good luck finding a spot to park or a table once you get inside. It is normally packed during the day. I understand why. It is a total hole in the wall with all the love and authenticity of the family that owns it. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. The buffet isn’t marked for the most part, so it is more for the explorers at heart. The pad thai was delicious, and both curries on the buffet were full of flavor.
Good enough. This isn’t the best Thai restaurant in town, but it’s the cheapest and it’s the closest to my house…and it’s actually gotten better in the last few months…not sure why. It’s not consistent. Sometimes it’s average. Sometimes better than average. The portion sizes vary. We mostly get the tofu green curry and the chicken pad thai. It’s enough to feed my family of four. *********** $15. Can’t beat that! **************
We order take out from Thai Kum Koon once a week. We always get the General Chicken (which isn’t really on the menu but they will make it for you) and the Pad Thai Chicken. Sometimes we get the Chicken Spring Rolls. The people are always nice and the prices are great for the portions. The food is excellent and always consistent. We love it!
Same owners, same great food. I went there 6/11/2013, and saw the same owners that have been there for years. Food is still great, and prices are very reasonable, $7-$9 for most entrees.My wife has been to Thailand twice and she verifies that it is actually Thai food.Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet. This is still one of my favorite Thai places, especially the delightful buffet.
This place is under new management, but they are still using the original menu from previous owner!! And what they making is NOT Thai food!! Awful!!!
