Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The workers were rude and rolled their eyes at us frequently throughout our short visit. Even when speaking to the manager on duty, I was met with the same attitude and disregard for customer service. Would never return and am posting here to save potential customers from the same fate. Take your business somewhere that values their customers.
They charged to my card not only the prize of my dinner but another 20 dollars not knowing why and without my permission. I called to ask for a refund but they refused to do it. If you go don’t pay with card, I was stolen, and I’m not the only one that has been at the Brewhouse.
My boyfriend and I went last night. It had a very comfortable atmosphere and offered select entertainment such as pool and sports playing on the tv. I would say I had an ‘okay’ experience. The burgers were ten bucks a piece and came out tasting like meatloaf with canned condiments added on very hard buns. Though I did indeed like my drinks. It was unusually cold and almost dead at 6 on a Friday night. I would only suggest for a group hangout spot. But not worth my money when I’m in the mood for a dinner for two/bar night.
Wonderful service, cheap drinks!. My husband and I are from Edmond and don’t frequent Norman too often. We found this place last summer and our waitress (Ashlee) was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations of where else to go while in town. We’ve only been back a few times since then and I meant to write a review but never did. We finally stopped by last night for the first time in forever, and it was really busy but Ashlee spotted us from across the room and happily came over to say hi to us while we sat at the bar! It was so sweet that she still remembered us! Our bartender was wonderful as well, and it’s always nice to see an inexpensive tab after having lots of drinks 🙂 We love this place and make sure to visit every time we’re in town.
No effing heat. This is a cooperate establishment. You’d think they could afford heat. But they have none. Literally no heat and its freezing. Even though i have a hoodie on.
Popular only for pool players. This place has one of the weirdest environments of any bar I’ve been too. Whenever we’ve gone to watch game & just hang out, we are the only ones not playing pool. You feel like you’re in a biker bar equivalent for pool players, and if you go to do anything besides do pool, you’re just looked at questionably by everyone. The food is very limited, and not the great. The beer is watery. And the service, for those sitting at tables and not playing pool, is irregular. I can put up with all of that to watch a Thunder game on a giant screen, but its uncomfortable vibe is what makes me not want to ever return.
Mondays and Tuesdays at the Brewhouse are the best! I buy a jug of their house brewed beer (I suggest the stout) and play pool free all night!
