Spinach Enchiladas. Freshest spinach!14 Aug, 2014Delicious and gigantic plates. Tulios is my favorite Mexican place on this side of Norman. It is tucked away in a strip center on the corner of alameda and 12th in east norman. It’s easy to miss but once you find it you won’t ever miss it again. The wait staff is friendly and efficient, and the vasty decorated walls illustrate the history of tulios through out the years. Autographed posters, jerseys, and pictures ajoin the walls celebrating the many sport herpes and local celebrities that call tulios their favorite. The spinach enchiladas, chicken fajitas, and pork tamales top the list of my favorites. The Mexican tacos, tacos de talapia, and platos de huevos give a great spice for more adventurous eaters. Other pluses include the salsa bar, 7.99 lunch special, and a 5 pound burrito for just 5.99 on Wednesdays. They also offer many more specials through the week. The best, in my opinion, being the 99 cent footlong sopapia. Tulios also has a light menu with 10 items that are 500 calories or less. My favorite is the shredded chicken taco salad with just a sprinkle of spinach and salsa on top. Get anything with spinach or salsa from this place and you’re good to go. Give stars

Yummy!. I tried the lunch menu today & it was fantastic! You get 2 items plus rice & beans. The portions were large & tastey & the salsa & cheese sauce were great too! I got the chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce & a crispy beef taco. I highly recommend Tulios! Don’t pay attention to those negative reviews. Those nerds can go to Taco Mayo!
Better than most tex-mex in the area. They have interesting lunch combos. It’s a free queso tex-mex kind of place. The spinach enchiladas are good. Decent prices.
So Disappointed. After reading all of these positive reviews I decided to try this place out. I don’t know if this place used to be bigger because there is an empty spot for rent next door that looks like it’s part of the restaurant, but this place is so tiny and crowded. The queso had absolutely no flavor except for salt, couldn’t even taste cheese in it. The food is overpriced for the quality and the flavors are disappointing. I would rather eat some Taco Bueno anyday. The waitress suggested a half order of nachos instead of a full one for my young daughter but she still charged me for the full order. I should mention too that it was at least 80 degrees inside the restaurant. The best part of my dinner was Mr. Tulio happily fixing the overcharge on my bill. The owner seems like a great guy but I will never go back.
FANTASTIC. I don’t even like Mexican food, and I went to Tulio’s to meet my family for dinner and not only are the Fajitas simply divine with perfectly grilled vegetables but you are greeted with warm smiles and great service! You aren’t charged for chips, salsa, or queso, as long as you order a meal! The sopapillas are a foot long and are delicious! I have gone back and for a non-Mexican eater, I crave Tulio’s. My family has tried the other dishes and love them as well! I have brought friends here for years now and have yet to find someone who wouldn’t go back! Definitely recommend it!
Great Mexican Food. If you’re looking for great tasting Mexican food, this is the place. It’s small, nothing fancy, but the food is outstanding. No other place for Mexican food in Norman with this quality!
