My family and I came in this little shop on a whim on Mother’s Day morning. We were a little worried they wouldn’t have anything left to offer since the front case was empty, but they had many tempting items arrayed behind the counter. The bakery looks a little shady on the outside since it’s next to the liquor store in the older strip mall in Jenks, but inside the atmosphere is clean and inviting. The baker was friendly and knowledgeable about their products. She informed us that they change the menu often and even offered paleo baked muffins as well.This bakery focuses on croissant pastries. We had a s’mores pastry, cheese danish, bratwurst and cheddar kolache, bratwurst and peppers, and last but not least a sausage gravy filled pastry. All of the pastries were buttery, flakey and delicious. The Johnsville brats were decent quality and satisfying, but local sausage from siegi’s or fassler would have made it exceptional. The s’more pastry was a chocolate delight with a toasted marshmallow on top. The sausage gravy filled pastry was generously filled and not over salted, but again sourcing a local proprietor would have added value. All the pastries were very balanced with their flavors and textures. I think this just made my weight loss journey a LOT harder! I guess I could get the Paleo muffin, but that cherry danish might be calling my name. My husbands only complaint was that they didn’t offer espresso (preferably from cirque) to complete the experience and they aren’t open Monday through Wednesday. Next time we will try the cold press coffee.

This small caf in the heart of Jenks is a surprise to say the least!Fresh made authentic pastries and friendly staff. I have enjoyed both savory breakfast croissants and sweet dessert ones as well. Open each day until sold out so get there early for the best selection.
