It was OK. The mains of General Tzo Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Orange Chicken was good. Got great, but good. The fried rice ... not so good.…

Not Impressed. We went for lunch take out as we are in a hotel close by. The staff are not friendly, even when we were the only ones there. We took our food back to the hotel to discover there were no napkins or utensils. The food was bland. There was no discernible difference between the General Tso’s chicken and the Orange Flavor chicken. The beef in the Beef and Broccoli was chewy and the broccoli and carrots were basically just warmed. The egg rolls were standard and the white rice was the best part of the meal as it wasn’t gummy.
Rude. I drove from tahlequah to eat here. Loved it when I lived in Tulsa last September. Today we went in and ordered..no hello or nothing. The girl took our order without a word. We sat down. She came out with our food and slammed it on the table. Not a word. Terrible service! I was embarrassed. I raved to my mom about this place and they treated us like #hit.
Very good food and very accommodating owners…they aim to please and it shows, unlike china cafe who could care less about ones dietary needs…i am celiac and need gluten free so asked golden china if they could plz make me moo goo gai pan with no sauce, just oil and white rice to which they readily agreed…china cafe was rude and hung up on me…
Worst service I’ve had in a long time. Really unprofessional. The girl at the counter took down my order wrong. Waited a long while for my order. Then had to wait again for the soup that was lacking. They should really can the girl behind the counter. I mean wearing a see thru shirt with a lacy back may be ok after hours. But not in the work place.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Im from the West Coast, so Im used to chinese food from the San Diego or Las Vegas area. I have never been to China so I dont really know what Chinese food is supposed to taste like. With that said, I have only had the orange chicken and it was very good. Fried rice had meat in it which I didnt like (I eat only white meat), and it tasted more like a pilaf than typical fried rice from a chinese take-out but it was very good. The orange sauce was very well done- not too sweet or heavy and the orange flavor wasnt overwhelming like most places. The chicken was fresh and tender and didnt have any gristle or fat. The meal I ordered definitely didnt taste like any of it came frozen, so if that is any indication of the rest of the menu, I would definitely recommend trying the place. As far as service, they seemed very nice. As one reviewer was commenting about, getting a can of soda without a glass is definitely typical for Chinese food in a restaurant of this caliber.
Dining in they got 4 orders wrong & after thorough conversation attempted to correct it. They brought us our drinks in cans & we had to ask for a glass of ice which apparently is abnormal. Our food was bland & undercooked. I’m pretty sure fried rice is NOT supposed to crunch. To top it all off they then charged me $8 for 8 cans of soda. We will NEVER dine here again!!!
Don’t go here to expect service. Go here to expect great food at a fair price. You walk in place your order get your can of pop and sit to eat fresh Chinese food.
