Came with my girlfriends last weekend. First time coming here and it was a great experience. The servers are nice and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing and casual. Ordered a Riesling and it was delicious, nice and sweet. Also ordered a few appetizers to share such as the Bayou shrimp dip (just okay–might have been better served warm, not cold), antipasto plate (just okay, liked he salami the best, goat cheese is not my cup of tea!), and the cheese platter (which was he beat of them all! The smoked Gouda was amazing and so creamy!). I liked that the server helped one of my friends choose a wine because my friend didn’t know much about wine. She went through about two glasses before finally one she liked enough to stick with it. Only disappointing part was dessert. Gurney cupcakes for $4. Yes, they could easily be shared with 2 people. I ordered the red velvet. It was good, moist, but there was a lot of frosting that I just ended scrapping off. My friend had the coconut cupcake which was really dry compared to mine. Wouldn’t get the cupcakes again. Overall, a nice experience and I’m glad to see that Lawton has a fancy place.
LOVE this place. Chianti has the most amazing atmosphere and wine selection in Lawton. My husband and I love coming here for date nights. They have live music and a warm cozy ambiance with great service. Prices are not bad at all (lots of choices under $10 a glass) but they definitely have some high end stuff, too. Highly recommend!
My wife and I were looking for something to do last Friday night. We had heard about this place and decided to give it a try. Good Call!It was a little expensive. But it was great. We did have 2 bottles of great wine and an excellent cheese and fruit tray for $70. They had a couple guys playing jazz. The service was great. This is a great date night place. Our only criticism would be that they need some lower priced things on the menu. Iced Tea would also be nice. But like I said, it was expensive but we enjoyed it.
