Great to feed a gaggle of folks who cannot (or will not) make a real decision – which pretty much describes an office luncheon or club meeting dinner. This is one of the smaller varients in the chain stores which means the selection is just a bit constrained from the bigger market stores. Still the food is consistently good but not anything spectacular. They seem to keep it sanitary and the food temp are always within tolerances. Areas like the salad bar are changed out enough that things don’t appear old, wilted, or just plain nasty.Their food selection is pretty wide and offers good variety. As I said, the newer, bigger, stores have a bit more selection but these smaller ones are no slouches either.Since pretty much everyone on the planet has experienced a Golden Corral in the decades they have existed, I will forego individual item descriptions.

Crowded, cramped quarters and bland food. I haven’s been to a golden corral in about 10 years until I found out the Furrs in Lawton was closed and went here instead. Most of the food was bland and sub par besides a few items that were OK. The tables are also very cramped compared to other buffet places and restaurants I have been to.
Organized mayhem (yes, contradictory terms) of the eatery world. Service is normally very good to excellent. Broad selection. They have some of the best home-styled fried chicken I have ever had in a buffet. They even serve brussel sprouts and turnip greens. Their salad bar and soups are good. I often eat their hot, yeasty dinner rolls with honey-butter as dessert. The dessert bar itself is usually pretty good. I enjoy their carrot cake and especially their bread pudding. (Which can be a bit variable in it’s content. Sometimes you can easily find raisins or fruit in it making it especially good. Other times you cannot. This isn’t due to people picking it out either.)
