Best Place in Town. Very nice and Friendly, good food
Breakfast Bonanza. Leo’s was on our stop this morning. It was our first time here. Mate ordered the 2 egg breakfast, hash browns with biscuits and gravy. I had the vegetable omelet. Food seemed to take a little while to get out, but it was hot and worth it when it arrived. Nice couple playing live music during breakfast. Very comfortable, home-style food. It’s a ‘everyone-knows-your-name’ place. Will certainly go back. 2 Coffees, breakfast all for under $15 and hot. With live entertainment. You can’t beat that.
Fitting name. Homestyle country cafe type eatery, they named the place pretty well. I have eaten there several times, but I personally do not like the food. Breakfast foods are typical for a homestyle place and is what I would recommend you go there for, if at all. Most of the other food has tasted a little bland in my experiences. Very cheap, but thats not a bad thing. Often has an older couple to provide a little music and singing
Excellent biscuits and country fried chicken. I really loved this place. You can tell the local’s love it too! Cheap prices, great country style food and huge portions. I had the Country Fried Chicken. It was excellent and put Cracker Barrels to shame. They give you the option of having homemade sausage added to your gravy, which I’d recommend. Their biscuits were fresh, made from scratch and so fluffy. They could charge more but I’m so glad they don’t. This place is truly a gem, hole in the wall, but worth trying.
Homestyle country cafe for sure. I thought I had stepped into a time machine and went back in time 50 years. Only thing it lacked was a jukebox. To take it’s place was live entertainment! A cute, ‘very mature’ couple: one playing an electronic keyboard, the other playing a guitar, both were singing. It was very entertaining. They exchanged compliments with each other throughout their show and I actually recognized all of their songs. The service was both personal and homey. The menu was good and the food was tasty. The only shock came at the very end when I went to pay the bill. I gave the cashier a $10 bill and got change back! For two meals including drinks! I had 2 eggs, hash browns, 4 large pieces of bacon, 2 fluffy biscuits smothered in white gravy with an iced tea. My friend had a nice Denver omelet, hash browns, biscuits and gravy with an iced tea. We plan to make regular return visits. The cafe is a bit off the road which may help hide this little jewel. The locals know it well.
