The to-go sibling of the Luigi’s classic restaurant on Sheridan road. This one has limited tables and serves stuff packaged primarily takeout.Food quality is good and the portions satisfying. If you want takeout Italian this is the place. If you want a real restaurant experience go to the Sheridan location with their much larger selection of offerings and classic service.
We don’t know how they make money…. …with the amount of cheese they shoved into their calzones… MMM! Had the ham & cheese and sausage & cheese calzones. Ham was sandwich slices; sausage was sparse with a great fennel kick). But that cheese was stringy, gooey, and delicious. Pull it apart, and you have miles of cheese. The dough was awesome – chewy, soft, and had a crispy, buttery top layer crust. The cashier was patient as we slowly decided what we wanted. Food came out quickly. Yum!
Never been disappointed!. I just love this place. My ex spouse equivalent and I would take out at least once a week. The staff is so friendly, the food, so good! And there is no way to beat the price! Thumbs up!
Pretty good gyros, definitely not Greek, though. My husband tells me the calzones are good.
The food used to be very good at great price but by time food quality went down I noticed less and less costomers there pizza is too salty and chicken parmWas watery and not flavorful beside the annoying male employees staring all the time you there so uncomfortable
I asked for a Gyro with no tomatoes and sauce on the side.. The pita bread was hard and they loaded it with raw onions. NO BUENO!
Never Again. The food is passable, most of the time, but yesterday my Luigi Salad was gritty. This was strike two. Earlier this year, at work, we ordered lunch and the order was wrong (again). No salad dressing for the Greek Salad? Seriously? That was strike one. But we gave them a second chance because anybody (or business) can have an off day. But in addition to my gritty Luigi’s Salad yesterday they got the Gyros with Fries wrong. Apparently they thought it should be Gyro with salad. That was strike three. Combine those transgressions with an indifferent staff that seems put out by the customers and you get – us never returning.
