Waited 35 minutes for a table only to find about 1/3 of the place had open tables. There is a new GM here. Not sure he is capable given what we have seen these past few trips here. Are they in for a surprise in a coupleonths when all these other alternatives open up around town. Sub-par won’t get it.
We have eaten at Olive Garden a couple times (I used to love the endless soup and salad). Both times the place was filthy. Dirty tables, torn fabric on the booths, dirty utensils and horrible service. If you want decent Italian in Lawton go to the nearest grocery store and pick up some pasta and a jar of sauce and save yourself some money and aggravation.
I ate here twice during my business trip to Lawton. Very busy place and I ended up having my meals at the bar both times. Bartender was super nice and the food was excellent which really surprised me after so many bad experiences at other places in Lawton. In my opinion this was the best restaurant in Lawton.
Poor Service. The service is continually poor at this location. They have forgotten orders at my table at two separate occassions, leaving someone to watch the rest of us eat.
What happened?. Unfortunately the food and service at this location was substandard. Sorry. I just don’t even know where to begin… our waiter was this young snotty tall boy. He charged us for samples of wine we did not even want, not even telling us. I asked for a side of mushrooms and got a few tiny, burned, dessicated pieces of inedible black morsels and of course we were charged extra for that. Our food was terrible- unusual for Olive Garden. Usually Olive Garden is decent. I don’t know what happened. Bad idea to go there.
Typical Darden. What more can you say about Olive Garden other than overpriced, small portions, and mediocre food. Sticking with the Darden Restaurant model, the bread is better than average, leaving the impression of a good meal. The only time it’s ever acceptable to say you’ve had a satisfying experience at Olive Garden is when it’s soup and salad at lunch time (not dinner because the price goes up). If you’re in the mood for Italian support local favorites like Luigi’s and Giovanni’s.
Good food and service. Very busy while we were there, but still had good service, was not rushed or forgotten. Would highly recomend.
