I just read the reviews about the service: we had a totally different experience. As soon as we were seated someone offered to take our drink orders because our waitress was with a larger party. We took some time deciding on what to order and she checked in on us a few times. Hot bread was placed on the table within seconds. It was so ‘fresh from the oven’ that it was too hot for my husband. When our dinner was brought out they confirmed that it was cooked correctly. And when we left the hostesses opened the doors for us and thanked us for coming. We typically aren’t patrons of commercial restaurants but we were pleasantly surprised and will dine here again.10 Feb, 2013Pretty darn good! We called ahead so our Saturday night wait was only a few minutes. The ribs were insanely amazing and literally feel right off the bone. The side of shrimp was tasty too. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! I love vegetables, and the veggies on the kabob had too much flavor – it was tasted like vinegar so I didn’t eat them.

Going downhill….. My family has eaten at many Texas Roadhouse locations…it’s our go-to place for good ribs and burgers. We were extremely excited when the chain finally came to Lawton. Since opening it has remained packed and usually has a full parking lot. We have dined in multiple times since opening but mainly order our food for pick up. While the food remains pretty good, I have been dissappointed in the service and the portion sides lately. The portion size of the sides and ribs has gotten smaller as the months go by. The last few times I have called for pick up they have gotten my order wrong….either the burger has the wrong toppings or I’m missing sides completely. They need to work on the quality of their service and stop chintzing on the portion sizes!

Waitress was awesome, food was good, the whole experience was flipped upside down when they turned off the TV’s at 10pm during NBA playoffs!! Come on, give us warning at the half atleast. From here on, it’s outback all the way! Forget roadhouse.

Currently sitting at my table… Finally. Have been here for two hours and still no food or drinks and we were just seated. Hot waitresses, but not worth the GDIs that inhabit this restarant. F+

Tried again, and another miss with service.. After not visiting in a few short months, my wife wanted to give this place a try. I cannot believe how they are cutting costs at times. The portions on my son’s burgers from the child’s menu could barely be counted as a portion. certainly smaller than the size of his palm.My take a few months back on the smaller portions of their appetizers were still the same. Certainly smaller portions than a year ago. I gues you have to save money, but it is pretty easy to notice. The food we had was served fresh and hot, it was probably the best pork chop meal I have ever had while at Texas Roadhouse. My only major complaint was not getting one of my sides in which I ordered the House Salad. Another waitress brought out the salads to our table, and when I reminded her of mine, she said she would check on it. After reminding our waitress (Trista), so said she would be right back……no luck. I could see if they were busy, but this was the deadest Friday night I have ever seen (no graduations on Fort Sill this week). I also did not see a manager come to each table to check on the customers which has been the norm ever since they have opened. I guess customer service is falling, but that is the norm in the town of Lawton.03 Dec, 2011Economy has hit their portions.. I used to love their Buffalo Wings, but they have now gone to boneless which are small as hell. They have also lost a little of their flavor. Some of the food is hit or miss. I love their NY Strip and pork chops, but will never eat their rack of ribs or their burgers again. I guess at times it is just hit or miss.
